accounts with no email set

Hello, apologies if this is in the wrong area.

If i buy an account from a trusted seller which has no email set, assuming i set my own email to it with everything else recovery wise. Can i assume they can still recover the account at one point?

i'm not sure how it works not with the jagex launcher and the security jagex has changed so if someone can enlighten me that would be great.

Great question..

The entire appeal to accounts that have no email set (based on my experience and knowledge) is that they are unrecoverable by whoever made the unregistered account and so whoever sets the first email to the account and then solidifies ownership by purchasing membership on the account is now deemed the 'original owner'.

This is my understanding on it anyhow, but if you're wanting to purchase and secure an account your definitely better off buying an unregistered account over a registered one any day.

A crucial element is matching the login email with the registered email.
