60 attack piety pure - 70 or 75 defence?

The account will have:
60 attack
99 strength
XX defence
99 range
74 prayer
99 mage

The account will have a quest cape, so mm2/ds2 unlocked.

I wonder if i should keep the account 70 defence, or go to 75?
75 will obviously make it more well rounded, able to pvm easier. But 70 is cleaner, and lower combat for pking.
What would you do, 70 or 75 def? Thanks

 

i had a 70 att 70deff account for a while. It was nice but often i would have to fight higher levels in bh and pvp
now ive gone 75deffence and att. I would suggest you do both, start with 70deffence and when you get bored go 75. Dont rush it have fun with it

 

Getting 75 at the start would make pvm, questing, training, infernal cape all so much easier though.

 

Yes. Having access to prims dfs ect makes the game a lot easier for pvm
+5 deffence is 1.2 combat levels.

If you pvm more go 75, guthans 70/75 is hours, its nothing really and the payout is crazy vs 70. Im enjoying 75 more myself but from your reply i think youve made your mind up

 

70 to 75 DEF in PvP scenario is almost an identical build but with 60 Attack I would want to keep my level as low as possible for PvP elements.

PvM perspective, well 75 DEF is not even a question. You could be 75 ATT 75 DEF 99 STR and probably near double your PvM efficiency while still having a legit Pking account.

The options for this build are endless and it will be a good account for both until you retire it.

 

Get 80 defence for that new gear coming up.
