So what you need is :
Thread
Needle
Leather not more than 9
Enabled the shift-drop option in the setting menu.

So what you have to do is easy leave the first left top corner empty and then place the 3 pirce leather in the first row and in the second and leave the first speace empty. So do this with the third row but now put the 1 piece of leather in the first speace .
Place the needle above the the first space in the third row.
Now click the needle and the leather then click the vambrace symbol in the menu quickly before the animation stops click the water. If the fish was catched press shift and release it and start over again.
