BEFORE TRADING ON DISCORD, ENABLE DEVELOPER MODE TO CHECK A USER'S UNIQUE ID OR YOU MAY GET SCAMMED!

• Discord impersonation is easy to fall victim to. Scammers will use similar characters in their Discord name to impersonate a user on Sythe. You need to confirm the Unique ID of the user you are speaking to before trading.
• At every point in a trade you should DOUBLE CHECK the Unique ID of the person you are dealing with. Users will create group messages and invite an impostor to middleman the trade. In every new instance that you speak to someone, you should verify their Unique ID.
  
• Most known middlemen and traders have posted their Unique ID on their thread or profile. You can search a user's Unique ID in the Sythe search bar; this will give you an idea if it is the correct person. If there are no matches, it's very likely you are being scammed.

How to enable Developer Mode:

1. Click the 'User Settings' gear icon at the bottom left of the discord app.
2. Scroll down the list of settings on the left side of the screen and click 'Advanced'.
3. Enable the 'Developer Mode' option at the top right of the screen.

How to grab a discord user's Unique ID (UID):

1. Navigate to the discord chat.
2. Right click the discord user's profile picture or display name.
3. Click 'Copy User ID'.
4. Right click in the chatbox and paste the UID.
