CnC Please

I'm trying to start up gfx again, not that i was ever really involved, and my friend gave me this image:


I turned it into this (it's not much, i didn't really know what to do with it, please give me some pointers on what would make it more interesting & if theres anything that i did that was awful) :

Its not bad, but maybe brighten the saturation and then Levels a little bit to give it not such a light look.. Just my opinion.

ok, i had had something pretty similar to that, but it was to dark for me :\. should i upload my .psd ?

 

Sure go for it, with pictures like this i like to keep the face with a nice light to dark saturation. I just think it makes the picture look better.

I like the lens effects, nice work considering you just started up again.

Try mabye adding some glow or streaks or something along the lines of that instead of just applying a filter or adding a lens flare. A good start, but only a start.
