fr00by scammed me

fr00by just scammed me today.

I traded with him and went first because he had a decent amount of vouches from other members, has 800+ posts and is a member since May 2010 -> compared to my 1 post (at the time of writing this).

The deal was: I trade him 10M RuneScape Gold for his Urban Rival's Vickie Cr card.
- I traded him the 10M first in-game on Rune Scape.
- He is then supposed to trade me his Vickie Cr card to my Urban Rivals account.

Here is the full MSN chat log of the deal. I asked him various confirmation questions to ensure that it is him I am trading with. He confirms his RuneScape character name too.

You can see that I had 10M in my inventory. And that I am about to trade it to fr00by.

I kept my end of the bargain and traded with him. He is now supposed to send me the "Vickie Cr" card to my Urban Rivals account.

More proof that I do not have the card. The card "Vickie Cr" should be at the top of the trade list, with me buying it from fr00by for 50 Clintz. It is not there and I have NOT received my card.


All screenshots have the time recorded at the bottom right hand corner. The MSN conversation has the time stamps recorded as well. I will provide any additional details of the transaction necessary.

I would also like to point out that I do not have a permanent RuneScape account and I bought 10M RS Gold from another person in order to make the deal with fr00by.

I also have the paypal information that shows that I did buy the 10M to trade with fr00by, just minutes before I made the deal with him. Also, if you notice in the MSN logs, I asked for a SS of the card in his account. He gave me a photobucket picture of JUST the card and not his account, which I found slightly suspicious and should of known better at that point.

I'm asking people to be weary of him. I think he scammed me because I only have 1 post and no one would believe me if I reported him for scamming. I will provide any additional information if required to show evidence that he did indeed scam me. I didn't lose a lot so I'm not too angry, but I'm surprised how petty some people are (scamming me out of $7 lol... but money is money). He seems to be quite an active member on the forums, so I am a little bit shocked that he decided to scam me over something so little.

By the way, the views were almost certainly from DDoS bots or searchbots. Bumping your thread makes it slower to get done, since we do scam reports in reverse order.
