The Price of Runescape-Gold

Well, a couple months ago I witnessed the sell of gold for easily 1$/Mill.

As the months went buy and i viewed topics.

" .80/Mill..... .70/Mill "

Well as we see now gp is around 0.65/Mill.... And in my opinion still dropping.

I believe the price of gp is now dropping because its so easy for " sellers " to get bills off staking. Creating a mass amount of competition

anyways... How low do you think the price of gp will go before all sellers are selling at the same price?

My belief... in a year.. Mills will be at 0.25/Mill

2: things will drop lower than most hookers

 

I doubt it's anything to do with staking, as that has always been around when free trade was available and it didn't effect the prices.

What's effecting the prices is the amount of gold being put into the game from botters etc.

Also I doubt mills will drop as low as .25/m. I'm sure Jagex is going to do something soon enough.

 

Full time gold sellers do no stake. It may be the easiest way to make money, but it's far easier to lose money. You could lose multiple billions in a few hours. Thats thousands of dollars shipped away to someone else for free.

The reason gold is so much cheaper is because gold is worth half as much as it used to be. Having a santa when it was only 15m made you look rich. Having a santa now at 117m makes you look like every other 100+ combat character.

I DONT THINK STAKING AFFECTS THE PRICES OF GP THAT MUCH. BACK IN 2007 A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE DOING BIG STAKES LIKE I AND PRICES WERE 5-7 DOLLARS.

2008-2010 NO FREE TRADING/STAKING RSGP PRICE WENT DOWN CUZ MOST OF THE PEOPLE DIDNT WANNA PLAY RUNESCAPE NEMORE THEREFORE THEY SOLD THEYRE GPS REALLY CHEAP

2011 - FREE TRADE CAME BACK BUT WITH A LOT OF BOTTERS PROLLY MORE THAN -2011 THATS THE REASON WHY THE GP PRICES ARE STILL CHEAP

FAR AS I KNOW JAGEX ARE HUNTING BOTTERS ON SOME DAYS EVERYWEEK.

THIS MIGHT MAKE ALL THE BOTTERS STOP BOTTING.
RSGP MIGHT GO BACK UP A BIT.
THERE ARE A LOT OF GOLD SELLERS OUT THERE WHO ARE SELLING CHEAP RSGP BUT THEY WONT HAVE THAT MUCH TO SUPPLY THE MARKET FOREVER BESIDES MOST OF THE BIG GP SELLERS ARE JUST RESELLERS.

I BELIEVE RSGP WILL SOON GET BACK UP TO THE ORIGINAL PRICE THOUGH. :d

 

It's because people are mass botting and Jagex isn't really doing anything about it.

 

I foresee a mass account ban in the coming months.

 

Botting will not die, Chinese companies will bot all the time no matter what.

The only thing I can actually see Jagex can do to stop botting is to IP ban anyone who bots, and all their accounts permanently, that will stop the thousands of people who have a main account, then have a few botted ones

 

I hope this doesn't happen as i am a botter...i don't bot for rsgp though just for the levels.
