How do you pronounce sythe

Ive heard people call it "s-ith" and ive heard people call it "sie-th" So my question is how do you pronouce it?

Believe that's the correct pronunciation.

 

I think it's pronounced Sith, like that star wars thing.. Revenge of the Sith.

However, I usually pronounce it 'Sigh th' sort of similar to how 'Knife' sounds.
