I think capturing alive would be much more effective than shooting him alive for no reason. We could have insights of terrorist groups- also their is no true democracy if you just shoot your enemy.

I do believe that Osama did deserve to die for all the shit that he did. It probably also made the terrorist groups lose a bit of morale as they realize they can still be found, no matter where they choose to hide.

How do we know that the U.S government didn't set up the 9/11 attacks as a motive to go to war in the middle east? Also the media made Osama the main bad guy, their could be others that we have no clue of. (General public)
We won't ever know what truly happened unless we work in a government agency for a looooong time.

 

The government would never do something like that to go to war for oil. It is their characteristic to create rumors to create reasons to move into a country; not destroying incredibly important landmarks and killing thousands of people in the process.

I don't understand for every event in history everyone has a theory that something else truly happened. I am pretty sure if like in this example, if oil filled nations told the U.S. no more oil, it would have been just like that and the United States would have taken it. There is no need for a cover up of any sorts, and yes Bush said hay guys lets crash a plane into a building. Umm no there are plenty of past terror attacks on the SAME buildings in history. As recent as i believe off the top of my head two years before the terror attack known as 9/11. Is the belief that the religion they do not believe in western based culture. "Evil is not something that exists". I disagree. Bin Laden was an evil man despite what anyone says. His beliefs are what they are, but to take such drastic (for lack of a better word) action is evil. Same with Hitler, I believe. Also, I fail to see the link between democracy, and shooting the enemy. Don't forget, the enemy was not an enemy to the 'political state', and therefore cannot pose a 'threat' to democracy. But I'm up for a discussion ^_^

you cant and nor can you prove he was armed its all circumstantial evidence and we have to go on what we are told by the media. I feel they did the right thing if you have any sense you know that they would of been ordered to not take him alive before even setting off to get him. Also I think they had been hunting him for 10+ years and when you get this chance you have to take it. Although I think that they have cut the head off the snake but it will still have people to take his place.
