If I RWT am I safer using vendors with less feedback (markets) as opposed to shopfront websites?

When buying gold in the past I have always used a website with huge amounts of feedback in the past (around 150-200m at a time) as they have always come through and I've never had account issues. Not sure if I can name them here but I'm sure most of you will have an idea of the big ones.

I am looking to buy a larger volume this time to get some bossing kit on my main. Been considering using a marketplace style website and using somebody who has a few hundred reviews as opposed to one with tens of thousands.

Would this be a wise decision, or is the risk the same either way - should I perhaps stick with the old reliable which I know?

Also, how do Jagex deal with RMT buyers these days? Is it accepted that temporary bans are a first resort, or is there always the risk of permenantly losing an account without warning?

 

kinda depends on the time and luck with bigger websites tbh. Smaller Vendors with higher combat accounts imo are way safer then going with level 3 mass trading websites. It's just higher trades more transaction low level probably gets detected faster then a smaller vendor would and it pops up on there radar faster. I'd stick with smaller vendors that are trusted here since the ban rans have went up compared to back in the day when barely anyone got banned buying.

 

You only get punished if the seller gets banned for the most part. Of course can get other RWT bans but for gold they don't seem to punish unless seller is banned.
