VPSes for botting - Talk about them here!

i strongly dissagree im using 2 other sites and heared photon gets nerfed after 10days of use or so.

 

I have just watched Photon kill 6 clients in a row, I'm fucking angry now.

 

What do you mean 'nerfed?' Not sure where you 'heared' that but I'm going to bet it's probably not true. Even before knowing what you're talking about.

Photon is THE best VPS provider, in my opinion. Others will obviously disagree, but the only issue with Photon is that the clients close themselves within 5 minutes of opening them. After a client has been open for 10+ minutes, it won't close.

I successfully got 4 clients open without a single one closing. *Knock on wood*

 

Well PhotonVPS has been the best provider I have used personally. I have used 5 and researched web hosting forums that I frequent and came up with them in the end. I successfully started a botfarm from a 1gb shitty vps and worked towards 2 photon warp 4's which are run on top notch systems. After such success I decided to answer the many many questions about VPS' on these forums (thanks to hamjam for consolidating to this thread) and referred people to what I found to be my best provider personally.

That's the story behind PhotonVPS and why so many people use them right now, the word spread and to be honest we botters are not the best customers. The owner and I have been in contact since I met him on a web host forum when I approached him about hosting my botfarm for me. And quiet frankly guys we are shitty clients: Not long term, high resource, high maintenance, charge-back filled, younger crowd still maturing, non-tech savie, blame them all the time, badger them about nexus problems constantly, what we do is against some tos, the list goes on my friends. He has been totally understanding so far but let's face it he has a business to run and loses little if closing the doors to us.

That's partial reason I have been a go between for him and the community, so we can all benefit from the relationship and his services to us botters, we profit and so does he. So just be patient with them when you can help it, don't ask them about bot problems if you can help it, run your settings to the right, don't bleed into burst ram, and don't freaking charge back especially if you use my link lol
I'm onto a dedi now so I'm downgrading my services with them, but will try my best to help the community regarding vps'

would it be enough all i will be doing is either training slayer/mining/thieving/rc

 

This may have been answered in this great thread but how many bots would i be able to run on warped 1 package? or warp.50?? Also i heard seershost is the best for RS botting. Between photon and seershost which is more reliable, easier??

 

1 on Warp 1, if the bot isn't resource heavy. I.E no Soul Wars.

.50 won't allow you to run a single bot.

No experience with Seer, but Photon is incredibly reliable and easy to set up.

 

dang .50 wont? alright well between all the other warps what would be best to run 10 bots on stable. Not soulwars but for like mining or fishing?

Well with Seerhost you get setup and support for botting whereas photon is just a normal vps provider. Both services are of the highest quality

 

Damn, I just started botting and I'm interested in VPS. I checked out on PhotonVPS that's all almost all members here recommend. So what is good at a reasonable price ? I'm not doing any service atm but because I can't run my PC 24/7 so I'm looking to buy 1 VPS for myself right now.

 

I've had both and I prefer seerhost. Cheaper and in my opinion just as good quality.

I've used both Photon and Seerhost. Honestly, I have not had a single problem with Photon while when I had a Seerhost VPS my client was shutting down (not sure if it was the VPS?) and I had a lot of connection problems with Seerhost. Just my personal experience, feel free to test them out for yourself

 

For all of you that have photonvps can you try if it can run the rsbot client(powerbot)?

 

Hey guys I'm really interested in using a VPS. I'd like to set up about 8 accounts and run them at Sorcerers Garden. I have no prior use of a VPS, and am currently trying to build my computer knowledge. I've researched both Photon and Seerhost and am wondering which client would meet my demands, price is not of issue. I just want a stable client, that has the ability to run many bots at one time.

 

I just wanted to post that I have had a PHENOMENAL experience with SeerHost's customer service and would highly recommend it.
