How many cannonballs should I buy?

For double xp weekend I will be ranging the ogre cage and using a cannon. I will be starting at lvl 70 range and will stay there for 10 hours.
How many c balls would you guys suggest I buy for this?

 

This is hard to answer but I would say about 2000. I am not sure at all. Giving my best guess.

 

imo you can train mage, smithing, and range at the same time check this out

super heat iron and coal (requires 30 smithing)

get your smithing level up a little bit

smelt the cannon balls

then use cannon balls to range

 

Thanks for the tip. But I have no interest in lvling up mage or smithing and money is not a problem

 

I'd say atleast 5k if you're going there for 10hrs.

Well ive never used a cannon at that spot how many ogres are spawned at a time? I usually cannon rock crabs and that uses alot of cballs.

 

I cannoned 82-94 Ranged at abberrants in polliv slayer dungeon, and used about 10K cannonballs per 3 hrs. (I also got enough drops to cover the cost of the cannonballs, if that's to any help.)

So I'd say 30K+ cannonballs.

 

At frosts I use 400 cballs per 20 minute trip. That works out to about 1.2k/hr.

That's in a single combat zone though. It will be much higher if you are in multi.

 

just buy 5k c balls, it shud be ok

 

Could you post a picture of the position of your cannon?

If so I could probably calculate it out for you.

what is the coal of ur range level? and just buy 10k

 

If your going to canonball you may as well chin, but yeah, I'd say to take around 3k

6k+ to be safe.

 

Seen as though most of these posts are un-realistic and un-accurate, I'll give you a rough example.

You use around 1.6K Cannonballs an hour, therefore 10 hours would be around 15K-16K cannonballs.

If money is no issue, I'd also suggest alching while cannoning, maximising your XP P/H.
