Your math has to be off.

Im at 79 mage, and need 11,065,025 XP till 99 mage ( 13,034,431 XP ), making it 170,232 High Alches ( Keep in mind its 65 xp per alch )

I edited my post after i spent afew minutes in my head trying to figure out what you'd done wrong calculating 99 mage. By the time i refreshed the page, you had replied ^_^

Nope, I did the calculations myself. As you can plainly see.

As above stated, it's only better if you cut and string the logs yourself.

 

They're nowhere near the best item to alch.

Sapphire bracelet are currently 592 each, add in the price of natures and it costs 758 per alch. They alch for 690 each, so you lose 68 gp per alch, for a cost of 8,137,016 for 55-94 mage.

This was just the first item I looked up, I'm sure you can find even better ones.

EDIT: quickly glancing at the other bracelets, emerald is about 73 gp loss per alch, and ruby bracelets are only 44 gp loss per alch.

 

yeah, except those don't count because you can't buy them in bulk at market price :laugh:

if you tried to get 94 mage that way, you'd be waiting months for the damn things to sell.

This is the best method being that it has the best balance between cost and time.

 

Maple long (u) are not very good money wise.
Good guide I have done this many times myself, got a few calculations of around +1m to around -5m.

 

Addy platelegs - 38gp
Rune chainbody - 34gp
Lava battlestaff - 34gp
Rune 2h sword - 34gp
Water battlestaff - 9gp
Air battlestaff - 7gp

Those are all items you profit from buying from market.

Maple (u)'s are really crap items btw, defence pots, attack pots and willow short (u)'s are a lot better.
