Muted for item scamming aka luring.

So i was trying to get some people i could lure. I was on w 1 just saing "Need someone with a rare to be on my pk vid pm me for info." i dont think that really constitutes as a 1 day mute...I mean i could legitly need someone for that reason.

Anyways i think its kinda B.S on jagexs part for doing that. Thoughts/ideas?

 

Lol your stupid to think that Jagex doesnt look at reports... someone reported you and I think its your own fault :] it breaks the rules and thats the punishment for getting caught

 

Wow, that is pretty dumb for a mute. I guess you can't really say anything you want, and have to be very careful about it. P Mod must have muted you.

 

I thought Jagex said luring was legal and if you get lured it's your own fault?

 

Basically someone recognized the lure and Jagex picked up on how obvious it was lol.

 

Finally, people are getting punished for luring.

No, it was a player moderator that muted you, I can guarantee that. He must have known you were trying to lure/has seen the same lure done before.

Runescape made a rule saying luring was not allowed. :\ and it clearly would make ppl belive ur luring.

I've been selling gp, just giving away in trade screen, for 19 days now. Not one of my "customers" or myself, have been banned.

Luring isn't against the rules so it makes no sense to me why your muted.

same happened to me in the old days. it's easy to appeal..
just say you were actually making a pk vid

 

A mute is perfect, they can no longer lure but still pay & play so for Jagex it's win win

 

Who said luring was against the rules? it falls under the same category as scamming...
