shaman help

i just got a new account with a 74 shaman, i was wondering what stats items do i need to get a good enhancement and whats is a good leveling shaman spec??

 

enhancement usually requires the same exact gear as hunters, except now hunters do not have intellect. You still need a little int, but I think Agi is your best friend for dps. I don't know the best spec though.

I would do it, but I don't play a shaman, I only know what gear they use because them damn enhance shammys would always roll for my gear lol.

Well to be honest with the new raiding going on, I'd say put alot into haste for enhancement, that's what I did and nobody ever talks shit about my DPS

And leveling wise I found enhancement quite easy to level, I did mine from like 55-85 as MS enh, and OS elemental for soloing bosses so you can DPS and still do some decent healing.

 

buying a touring mount would be helpful to travel friends etc

 

you need same gear as hunters, agility , attack power and int

 

When was the last time you played? enchancement shamans no longer need int on their gear, just Agil & Stam.

Int was removed from hunter gear due to them getting a 100 Focus Energy bar in place of their mana bar.

 

Spec enhance for leveling

Agility and stamina are your friends
weapon imbues: windfury main hand, flamgetounge off-hand
Spell prioritiesprobably not that important while questing)
Maelstrom weapon (when 5 stacks)
flame shock
lava lash
unleash elements
Stormstrike
Earth shock

 

haste is a no no.

reforge all haste into hit/expertise til capped and gem pure agility whenever possible

Have you considered elemental for leveling too? I leveled 70-85 as ele with no worries. The spell damage boosts heals too which is very handy and kiting mobs is an option (which isnt all that easy as enh)
