Wrangler has not responded to me after I sent him 100$ BTC

Explanation of the trade: I reached out to Wrangler to buy 500m. We would do it via trading items and I would pay in bitcoin. After he sent me his bitcoin address and I had sent the 100$ BTC, he deleted his message that included his bitcoin address and has not yet responded to my messages. I didn't notice he had deleted the message with his address until a couple of hours later. He also went immediately onto invisible status on discord. I gave him the benefit of the doubt since he said he would be at work partially. However, it's been almost 12 hours and I haven't heard a thing...

He hasn't blocked me or anything so I'm not sure what to do. He's just not responding.

How they scammed: Took my BTC and failed to respond to me after it was sent.

If he gets back to me I'll gladly apologize to him and delete the post but so far it just doesn't look great. I don't buy gold much and $100 is a decent amount of money for me so I wanted to post everything here just in case he continues to not respond.

If there is anything else I should include please let me know. I hate to accuse someone of scamming when they've been on here a while but I can't think of any other reason someone would remove their crypto wallet from a dm right after it's sent.


Also if you look at the timestamp of when my BTC was sent, it lines up perfectly with right after I asked for his wallet.


UPDATE: It’s been about 9 hours and still nothing. I’ve dmed him saying that I will gladly take down the post if he would give me the gold or return the BTC.

Still have not heard anything. I've dmed him on here and on discord. He's been active on discord so I'm sure he's seen my dms.
