Question about jagex accounts.

How are people recovering jagex accounts if there isn't a way to manually recover them? Reason I'm asking because I have a jagex account I wanted to sell but I saw on a thread here that the acc loses its value because it is a jagex acc.

I decided to do an investigation and saw that emails can be changed on a jagex account but there is no way to recover an account if the registered email doesn't match the original email used to create the account.

I honestly have no idea. I would assume any accounts original owner can recover it. I know some account sellers don't even give out the email to the accounts they sell so that they're able to help in anyway if something happens to the account. I'm still really new to the whole jagex launcher only coming back to runescape a couple months ago.

I would guess if you send jagex the proper information for the account they can in some way help you retrieve it. Unsure as to why the value would go down for a jagex launcher account considering its more secure with 2fa but then again supply and demand most people are on the market for accounts that are not jagex launcher because it gives them the flexibility of not having all of their assets tied to one main account and they can buy / sell freely without having to sell 1,2 and 3 accounts all on one launcher.

When I sell regular accounts or jagex launcher accounts customers still ask for recovery questions and stuff like that so I would assume there is a way to test recovery even if its a jagex launcher account. Like I said im no expert maybe someone else will be able to go in depth more but that's my thoughts.
