How will rares work in wildy?

so if u die with phat and ur wearing bandos u keep bandos not phat

like old wildy use to be

 

same goes for trading to general stores etc assuming they will change it back like before where u can see what u sell to general stores

 

Phats will still be worth less than the conventional pk armor... So don't be risking it in wilderness thinking you can protect item once Wilderness comes out.

It's based on the market price according to the Q&A

The average market price will be changing all the time meaning you have to check like daily to see what your going to keep..

I think it will be based off high alchemy price. I was worried as well because a few lures rely on the alchemy price being the basis for the "kept item", but after I have read and re-read that Q&A, they state that it will be based on the highest valued item or highest worth/price. They never mentioned their newly coined term "guide price". If they planned on using the constantly fluctuating guide price that will replace the old mid-price, I would think they would say guide price when they talk about kept items.

I could be wrong, but that's the most i could gather to determine.

You have it backwards. They're removing the upper and lower price limits and leaving a suggested value. In other words, mid or market value will remain and there will be no high and low price.

On topic, I think this is stupid.. it's always been based off of alch values. Why change things now? It's not like it prevents RWT or anything like that. I'm thinking that might be a typo.. wouldn't be the first time they fucked something up on their website.
