Seeing the discord server that's got about 5 active users who seek out people they dont like and get one of their friends to "DNT" people is a really bad advertisement for people coming to your platform to sell anything. I've browsed sythe for a few years now and started selling a service on here maybe 2 months ago, and it took me maybe 1 hour in total over that time to see the cliqueish-ness. I looked at a conversation in the discord between a few members, one of which had been "DNT'd" for seemingly no reason other than some dude didn't like him. the accusation didn't even make sense but 3 people in particular kept pushing it and it lead to Pirate handing out a "DNT". I said it was dumb and then the same people started saying i was the dudes alt, or "vader" whoever the **** that is.

Not only is it bad for business, it's cringe.

I'm 100% positive you don't even want to read this, but your reply is absolutely irrelevant to anything I said.
leveraging contacts in the sythe community to influence punishments is not "light trolling" so i don't even know why you would quote that.

I wasn't "harassed", given the current climate and popular usage of that term, is to insinuate that what i'm saying is childish and discredits my entire point which was connection or popularity or "clout" were leveraged to influence a decision. i'm not sure if you are aware of this, and i could forgive you for not being aware of that.

To say " 'we don't hand out DNT's for 'no reason' " is to say i'm either misunderstanding the rules or i'm lying, i'd like you to clarify. If it is a misunderstanding, i'd be happy to admit so.

edit: at the absolute very least you should maybe stop people who have authority "joking" (if it even was a joke, which i don't think it was) about "corruption having no reason", the insinuation being they can ban anyone for anything. Maybe it's "light trolling" and i'm just autistic, but regardless it's not really a good look - which, in your defence, may not matter.

If that's the evidence i'll just leave you to your own devices, clearly some conflicts of interest happening.

 

that's cool, and like i said maybe it's not a big deal to anyone on sythe but to outsiders it's a turn off. if growth is even a consideration might want to reconsider. I'm all for "fun and giggles" but;
A) this doesn't feel like fun and giggles, when there is a logistical problem with the allegations.
B) regular members and admins are fine with labeling someone (admittedly, in this case, me, so you can assume bias) critiquing their actions, as a scammer. If i went around saying that to people who have donator ranks, do you think i'd receive no consequences for tarnishing their reputation? even when i couldn't possibly have the impact they can simply by virtue of their reputation

If payers are allowed more leniency, that's cool. i don't own the platform. but if the roles are reversed and the outcome is different that's not very transparent because as far as i can tell people should be treated equally regardless of if they pay the platform or not, aside from the benefits that come with donating. none of the listed benefits include favourable decisions from staff.

 

you don't see a problem with staff and friends calling me a scammer for disagreeing with a decision? i can't tell if you're being serious or if the trolling continues here too

the people im talking about are staff or donators. i left the discord as soon as they said i was some scammers alt account because why on earth would i stay? you can find the logs there.

Aside from what im saying in this thread, which is all recorded and logged in discord, i dont have evidence of donators being treated with more leniency, the evidence is logged on YOUR END, not mine.
