Neat little glitch

Further proof that jagex is comprised of elementary school-dropout programmers, I discovered a fun little glitch with the bank system.

Step one: Open your bank and take a look at your very first item in the main tab.

Step two: Set up a new tab to have 3 or more items in it, none of which should be of more than one item (So like one rune scim, one rune plate, one iron dagger, as opposed to 400 fire runes, 20 lobsters, 30 coins)

Step three: Quickly remove the 2nd-to-last item and then the last item in the last tab. This should be done before the last item has a chance to slide over to replace the second-to-last item. (So if your tab looks like rune scim, rune plate, iron dagger, remove the rune plate and then the iron dagger in quick succession)

My guess is that each bank slot is assigned a numerical value. What happens is you wind up clicking a slot for which there is no item, yet you still requested it to withdraw something. You will then receive the item in the first slot of your main tab. Hope this isn't too confusing.

What i think your getting at is:

put 3 items in a tab each only having 1 of an item for example:

1 bronze dagger 1 rune scim and 1 rune 2h. You thinking the items are in numerical in the game so if you remove the 2nd one fast enough you can withdraw 2 of 1 item? im not sure if thats what you meant but if so...thats epic.

 

LOL This is so fucking old, this has been around since Jagex even added the bank tabs. Basically he's saying if you click on an item at the end of your bank rapidly, after its withdrawn you will withdraw more random items.

 

you cant really abuse it though can you

 

It doesnt really seem like there is any potential way to abuse this, but nice find regardless.

Yea.. all you really have to do is spam the last item in one tab then the first item in another tab will be withdrawn. I do it all the time when selling loot from my slayer tab. It's kinda annoying really.

 

Tl:dr>

Click an item in your bank and quickly click the item next (right) of the previous one, you will remove the first and another random item instead.

 

It's not a random item, it takes out the first one from your main tab.
