I have an account with 250m I wanna invest in with some pro merchers for 2 weeks MAX.

We could all discuss an item. Preferably P2P

So basically you wan't to make a merch clan.. For that to be successful you need a lottttttttttttt of net wealth to actually buy out the item. I'd say at least 4bil, so getting enough people to make it work may take a while and even then you're going to have to deal with people selling early and people taking a loss...

 

Not necessarily...I spent around 1.7-1.9mil on 100k eye of newts...made aroudn 400K-500K profit. within 5 days

 

Well there must've been a bunch of other people also buying them because newts aren't exactly hard to come by so there's no way 1.9mil worth of newts would have driven up the price.

 

Who knows, but the topic starters main goal is investing not manipulation. Purposely manipulating an item is wrong and somewhat immoral, however investing is a different thing. Your lucky if someone manipulates the item your investing.

I'm not making a merch clan, I just wanna find a few rich fellas to merch a bit with. I'm not manipulating the item to ruin the RS economy, I'm buying a single item.

What's the difference between finding "a few rich fellas" to merch with by "buying a single item" and manipulating? It's manipulation that just won't be as strong of an effect because it won't be on a big enough scale.

I haven't spammed at all and what I've said are facts more-so than an opinion.. And because I'm right and you do want do manipulate an item you're getting mad.

 

Check out the site Rune-Tips.net, Sythe.org's own Merchant_In_The_Dark runs the site. There are a lot of pro investers on the site (including me). Also, check out the forum too, there is a GE section where people can suggest items to invest in. Merchant himself puts up "Hot Items" that will go up in price.

EDIT: Hot items we're investing in now are Dragon Boots & Raw Tuna. I'm also investing in Blood Runes.

You would do better solo flipping. 250m is a good amount to flip with, and you could make mils a day after you got good at it.

 

flipping is also VERY good im currently making 1-2m a day by doing arma helms and pray pots
