Should homosexuals have the right to get married?

How does it show my ignorance and narrow mind? Explain yourself there, because i know some people that want to marry their pets and can't. They will get certain "benefits" that would be unfair to others, who will demand for theirs.

I am sorry, but i think an orphan would be better off with a "father" and a "mother". It is bad enough for them not having their parents, and if they have to get the new "parents", i suppose a "mother" and a "father" would benefit them much greatly.About the reproduction is my own personal opinion, so you can disregard that.

I agree here, don't get me wrong. The thing is that the supply of orphans is higher than the demand, so many orphans can't get a mother and father. So if it's either two fathers or none at all, I'd say two fathers is the best option.

 

I do not agree with that statement. They would be very likely to be psychology "hurt" by having two "fathers" instead of a "mother" and a "father" like all the other kids. They would be better off as orphans, if you ask me.

 

My opinion is that homosexuals should have the right to marry one another. On the topic of two men having a child, that situation would be horrible for a child if you ask me. I'm not trying to be against homosexuals, but it is inevitable in this society for someone with two male parents to be on the outer rim of society, being an outcast or just not fitting in.

 

I think as well that marriage is between a man and a woman. That's what it was created for.

The gays should have their own thing then, to bond them.

A woman has a defect and cannot reproduce should she not be allowed to marry? A man and a man love each other why can't they marry. Straight people divorce more often then homosexuals.

I personally think they have the right to get married but I would not vote for it when we gave blacks and woman equal rights now everything we do is Discriminating against them because they are a woman or black if you are a black woman you have way more rights then I have.

If we give them to rights to marry some of them will abuse rights try to call you out on discrimination if they don't get a job.

However in my state it was legalized there is a vote pending on if we should overturn it I think it would be stupid to overturn something like this.

I myself am homophobic (to an extent), but I would never let that infringe of other rights. If a Church wishes to not wed two men, or two women, that is their right, but if a man and man, or a woman and woman want to get married- that is their right (let us not forget the benefits that you would be denying somebody by refusing them a legally binding marriage).

Even though im christian, i think they should. It is not our choice if someone wants to get married its not our life we need to stay out of it. But i do believe they should not be aloud to show public affection or bother me because i will puke on them.

I may be wrong but I think the churches brought in marriage so if the people wanting to get married are going against gods will (im not christian nor am I against homosexuals) then the marriage is pointless. This should really be about the relevance of two men or woman getting 'married'

The Bible doesn't say that gay marriage is wrong, it only says that gay-sex is wrong. Statistically speaking, a married couple has less sex than an unmarried one, so I don't see why Christians don't support gay marriage. It causes less sin, after all!
