Ranged Strength?

i was on a ranged str calculator and i noticed that if you wield hand cannon shot your range strength goes up alot, but will this make me throw knifes harder and hit higher?

 

You can't wield hand cannon and throw knives at the same time?

I am confused with what you're trying to ask.

 

he's saying the ammo adds a bonus, which it doesn't since you're not shooting it.

 

Makes no difference if your using knives.
