When to start fishing sharks on my way to 99 FISHINGGGGGGGGG!

I'm currently level 78 fishing and fishing salmon/trout on my way to 99

I was thinking about fishing lobbies at some point for some cash but I wonder when.

Also, when's the best time to fish sharks?

P.S. It's on a skiller therefore I don't do quests so no monkfish.

 

start lobbies now till 85-90 then sharkies

 

Why not trout/salmon fish now?

 

cuz u can make money that way + and its better i spose

fishing lob's now youd make about 70k a hour and there ok exp i spose around 20k a hour.

Shark's are just fail hard

 

Start lobsters at 80-90, Sharks from 90-99.

 

I duno iv been barehanding tuna/swordies since 70 im 75 atm gets me like 50-55k an hour
not to mention it helps with the str lvl of my pure lol.

 

I would strongly reccomend monkfish for fast money and exp but if you can't do that just do lobsters I guess. Start sharks at 90+. ^_^

 

Fish monkfish until 85-90 then you can start with sharks, goodluck!

 

It's better to fish lobs from 80-99, i think the profit is 26M, a friend did this, took him around 2 months.

 

I usually start sharks between 93-96 fishing and I like 75 to start lobs.

 

Start fishing sharks at 99, only way. Just farm exp at shilo until 99.

 

I think you're right. That sounds like a good plan. Plus I'll invest the cash on the way.

 

Fishing sharks is such a greater amount of profit that you have to spend a ton of hours leveling to make up for the time you lost that you could spend fishing sharks (e.g. 100 hours of shilo fishing = 10M loss if you were fishing sharks, let's say). So I would just go sharks from 76 if you want to be realistic. Lobsters are a hybrid, and I find that they don't really accomplish much either way.

Lobster till 99 I think is the most efficient.

 

Yeah? Google didn't help. This was the best option and it was worth it because it actually helped me.

 

Everyone seems to say try using sharks at 90+. On top of that, use yourself a granite crab to give yourself a nice little invisible fishing boost to make it even that much easier.

Now I currently don't have the information, but a long time ago I was fishing using a granite crab, sword fish gloves (from Fist of Guthix) and proto tool (from Stealing Creation). Using those things actually made fishing swordfish + tuna quite good money and experience per hour.

Now I think the experience will work out to less per hour because you have to collect the items required, but it's really easy for me to get them at level 136. It also means that I don't have to spend time just fishing and can do some other things to make it like monotonous.

 

Wait, a granite crab? Explain what that is, what it does, and how to get it please.

 

I personally started when i was lvl 90 fishing, they'r fast then.

 

I'm currently at 76 fishing, and I'm a level three skiller too. Lobsters are actually quite quick and I've made about 5M from 40-76 fishing, which isn't bad at all. As for the method you use, Inventor, I've never tried it but I'd surely suggest you trying lobsters as it is very profitable as a skiller!
