Interping, What It Is, and How to Fix It. [CS 1.6]

Guide on How to Fix Your Interp.​

Definition's Needed to Know:

1. Interping- Interping is associated to your Aim. In CS 1.6, your interp should be pre-set to ex_interp "0.1". This is illegal in leagues and makes you look like a bad player. In the end, we ultimately want to change your interp from "0.1" to "0.01".

2. Console- The green box used to enter commands in CS 1.6. You can ultimately find this by clicking your tilda button or "~". Most tilda Buttons are located on your top left hand corner.

Differences of "0.1" and "0.01"

The main difference is that when you are aiming, when your interp is "0.1", your shots when even not on them will automatically hit them. This is bascially illegal in leagues. When you have "0.01", if you do miss them, it won't hit them.

Steps to Fix Interping:

#1. Start up your Counter Strike.


#2. Open up your console by pressing the "`" or "~" button.


#3. Type in ex_interp 0.01

#4. Go into your game and enjoy!

 

This guide isn't up to the standards it could be up to. 3/10.

 

What standards? It's a straight up guide on how to fix your interp. You can't make interp into a long guide about something else.

 

I don't understand what the picture of the keyboard is for. Also, you need to say in the name of the guide, or at least the title, that you're talking about Counterstrike, because until you mentioned it, I had absolutely no clue what this guide was about..

 

Straggler, I put CS 1.6 in the name. And the keyboard is there to show the tilda button. I did a poor job of outlining it.

 

Ah, I see. Then it's a pretty good guide, although instead of posting a picture showing users where their tilde key is (somewhat obvious), how about showing the effects of changing your interping settings?

 

You really can't get a picture of how the interp changes. I tried showing it on a graph but to complicated. and Thanks for the compliment.
