no could be a week or two later. its entirely random. 40m is nothing.

I have a 38 combat account.

I've traded BILLIONS. I've traded atleast 200b+ on the account and it's 38 combat, and not a skiller or anything. I havent trained in it for years.

So you should be good, but please don't flame me if you do.
The chances are slim, but someone does hit the unlucky droptable :d

 

I just sell & buy gold, whenever I feel like it.
I do take precautions in rare cases like dupes, or glitches that bring money into the game.

But other than that, I just do it whenever.

 

the only time i got unlucky is when i bought 3m in 2004-2005? cant remember from a chinese gold farming site called "farmer100" i made that 3m to like 80m 07 when 80m was like having 5b right know got insta banned never got banned after that trust me they wont care for the small fish that much RN

 

extremely low, afaik anything other than a level 3 is good to trade, to and from for rwt related bans

my rule of thumb is, I don't trade level 3's straight off tutorial island

i personally do small sales for friends of 20-50m all the time, never had a issue with low volume of gp. i dont think it would be instant but if flagged somehow prob 24 hours you would know
