[Denied] Suggestion to promote Sythe.org

My suggestion is for Richard (or anyone else that has any financial benefit hosting Sythe.org) to start an auto-chatting bot-farm at the Duel Arena to promote gambling at Sythe.org, more specifically the Donor Dice section. The reason behind this is that in Runescape you pay taxes over your winnings, so in the long run you will always lose money staking. On Sythe however you have 50/50 odds and you can even customize bets to make it more fun (highest, lowest, x rolls, closest to).

The biggest selling point to do this is that the big difference in gambling on Sythe and a hosted Discord or website is that on Sythe there is no 'host'. There are just players that gamble other players. Obviously there are also hosts on Sythe but they are just an option if you want to gamble quickly, otherwise you can 50/50 anyone else.

I don't see why Richard himself should do this. If any gambling discords wanna do that that operate through Sythe, why not. But again, idk why Sythe itself would/should do this.

 

I don't believe the owner Sythe should/would want to pay someone to promote gambling at the duel arena. If you, or know anyone, that wants to do it, then by all means.

 

Sythe.org is his website and if he wants to boost traffic / make the community grow he should be the one to put effort into doing so.
My suggestion is basically saying that there is wasted potential for the website to grow by putting hardly any effort in, just put some spam bots at the duel arena promoting Sythe gambling and thats it.

Sythe already is easily the largest trading platform. There's litteraly no need. All it will do is put Jagex' sniper scope on Sythe and risk a potential C&D.

 

If you'd like Richard's thoughts you are always welcome to DM him, but this isn't on the top 100 list of things I see us doing any time soon.

Yeaaaah no. Why advertise something as if it's the only thing offered? Would cause more problems than it's worth.

 

Nah man. Most of the spam bots in any world at GE are scammers. I think this is unnecessary and would be a bad look for the website/community. Even if Sythe (the platform) chose to do it, advertising Donor Dicing would not be a first choice.

 

No support from me for now.

 

The last thing I want is a bunch of gambling addicts clogging up the sections requesting how to report a scam for 100k RS3.
