    Music. Objective or Subjective?

I believe music is somewhat objective but subject to a limited grey area of opinion. I also believe there's such a thing as "quality" as opposed to "bubble gum music" that you chew and once it looses its flavor, you spit it out into the garbage.

    Discuss.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking about music, whether it's subjective or objective in the sense that it's actually classified as music or the quality of music.

Anywhoo, if it has a constant rhytm or rhymes, it qualifies as music. All else is really just noise and sounds. Whether it's of positive quality is entirely subjective and depends on the person who listens.

I mean that quality makes it objective.

    Quality is subjective.

    Music. Objective or Subjective?

It's completely subjective. The only objectivity that is in play is whether or not it is music, which may lead to a different argument about what is actually defined as music, but regardless, if it is music, its quality is subjective.
