GhostOSRS Recovered account to Resell

The story - On November 10th I purchased the account from this user for GhostOSRS and all seemed well until the morning of March 13th when I got an email that my account was locked. I immediately contacted GhostOSRS asking if he could help with recovery as the first attempt with the given security questions was denied. After a few days he just told me I was out of luck which I found suspicious so I check out Sythe offers and the first RS3 main post was my account. I contacted the seller and he said this. (Imgur) Apparently he (GhostOSRS) recovered the account and asked a trusted member to sell it for him (the reseller was not aware the account had been recovered). After I confronted him about the issue he claimed to have accidentally recovered and requested to resell with a trusted member because "the account was registered to him". (Imgur)

People like this do not belong on Sythe.

 

Can i just say that i never took anything from the account, i did recover it yes, while intoxicated and going through accounts that was on my email , this was one of them. I have and still have the account there for him to take back, however i never took and items off it; he took his items and gold off it after it had been recovered as a safety precaution, which i do not blame him for smart move.

 

I should not have a DNR as i never broke any rules, never took any gold and the account was offered back to him, as it still is

 

That is a terrible excuse to recover back an account; certainly not a valid one. Your words hold no meaning when you've intentionally recovered back an account and based on your reasoning above @YellowMilkshake will not be accepting your account again - who knows if you'll be drunk tomorrow?

Kindly issue the $90 refund to YellowMilkshake for the account as requested above

Recovered an OSRS account I purchased for $400 USD.

I'll be getting both of his RuneScape accounts banned.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I have been in contact with @GhostOSRS via discord for the last few days and he seems to not be open to refunding my money. He makes claims that I have access to the account via a successful recovery when quite to the contrary my only recovery attempt (performed right when I realized the account was locked: Imgur) was quickly denied. All of my interactions on Sythe have been great and honest until this incident; people like him give Sythe a bad name. Again, I thank you for moderating the forum and making it, for the most part, a welcoming, safe place to trade!

Please reconsider refunding the $90 I paid for the account. You can keep the account and the wealth I transferred over to it; at this point I do not care to have the account or do business with you ever again. I just want to wash my hands of this situation and get my money back. If you choose not to I am confident there will be consequences for stealing my money.
