User named Cobby scammed me a total of 100 euros.

11/03/2019 I bought coaching from cobby.
I was told I'd be given vod reviews, duo games, custom games to practice but only vods were received. Later I asked him for matchups. He failed to provide detailed matchups, and the ones I asked for. He only told me about rengar, and ignored the rest, with childish and minimal explanations. He also took weeks to ask me to get on with the coaching, and always asked me at 12-1 am which I wasn't on sometimes. Yet it was my fault for being "busy" when he told me he was not going to be busy.

Never did he say he would be busy with university. In fact, every time I comforted him regarding him not doing a good job, he'd always try to guilt trip me by saying he was my friend, and that it was his fault for be-friending me which made 0 sense. Considering he told me he was a good coach, challenger rank 85 peak last season and also that he would help me out as a friend.

He was never challenger, and never had the account lost dec 25th. Not in 2018 aka season 8. Rat IRL was playing on the account during that time.

The user repeatedly gave short, useless explanations which had no real meaning of macro/micro and how to become a better player in general. Also sometimes avoiding my questions with random trivial things, which have no relation to the subject.

Instead of accepting the chargeback after not providing what he was supposed to, he sent me a "fake" account which not only did not work but also was not what I bought. The user had put a false description and failed to refund me to change it, after refusing to do so via voice comm.

How they scammed: Paid them via paypal, after several days, almost nothing was provided from the user, and then they removed me from their friendslist, later on blocking me after I found out they lied about their rank peak.

DNT'd @usernamer. You failed to provide an adequate service and instead of discussing a refund of some sort, you sent a fake invoice of an account trade (which never occurred) in order to make sure you won the chargeback.

Update: User still will not let the chargeback go through.

He is disputing it by "sending" fake accounts to prevent paypal from letting me win the chargeback.
He is active on his email!

 

@Gladiator It's unfair that you hear only one side of the story.

Here's what happened, first of all this is your average PayPal chargebacker - We have agreed on a certain price for coaching, regardless of your feedback of it I delivered a 100% - And as proof of it we've done 90% of the work and you decided to bail out on our LAST vod.

It's obvious that you took advantage of the coaching and decided not to go through with it with the very last part of it.

When I made the invoice I've titled it as "Unverified Account" instead of "Coaching" because I'd imagine it wouldn't be easy to deal with a chargeback for a coaching service, basically I predicted that he was going to pull something fishy, so I sticked to what I usually do and titled it as account.

Now from this point the chargebacker either saw the the title and thought that he was owed an unverified account alongside the coaching or he just decided to take advantage of the situation and decide to get a free account out of it, when I noticed he had changed his reason on the PayPal claim (As if that wasn't suspicious enough) I decided to play his game and send him an account - I don't care if he gets away with a free account, I'm not losing to this chargebacker.

The sad thing is that I've done many trades with this guy, but this time he decided to go rouge, for crying out loud I hear he had a bad reputation in our Discord but I've dealt with so many chargebackers it's normal for me now.

However, no solo que duo games where taken into place, Nor custom games, Nor proper theory sessions as promised. Everything was just thrown quotes with little to no detail as if in a rush to get rid off me. Also, only "rengar" was described in detail, when numerous times, I requested that he told me of a list of champions. Kha zix, Rek sai, Karthus, and a few more included. The user still refused to refund, due to his TOS, which never asked me on discord but sadly didn't read it during the invoice. it is to be noted that when he blocked me I opened the chargeback as any normal "customer" giving real currency to another would do when the provider cuts contact.

The coaching session was 40-50% done at max. Not 90% at all. Vod reviews were only at around 5-6 hours. As for being a normal chargeback troll. Again false accusations. You told me to discuss it but I did not want to do anything with someone who is lazy at his work. You also told me you were a good coach, only to come out 22+ days later to say, "hey dude im a bad coach but im a god player so like eh"

How is it an acceptable service, when you type me 50-60 words, scrambled, barely explaining the point and counters of a champion. The duo games that you mentioned were on your "troll" account which you provided me with 0 vc, 0 coaching, and also played terribly while overextending constantly, and flaming your teammates in chat. That behaviour is not coach like, simply atrocious.

REMINDER, OUR DEAL WAS NOT ONLY VODS SO NOT 90% BY FAR. Not even 50% by all means.

If you wish to say you gave me a free account then provide me with two hand-levelled accounts which are equivalent to 50-60% of what I paid you.

I will not stand subject to false accusations. I do not care about money. I got a new coach due to the fact you are slow, lazy and inconsistent with your teachings. Not to mention you, yourself said you are a bad coach.

This was said 14+ Days after the deal. Putting me in great liability. After that, barely any interest or coaching was received.
06/25/2019 was the last date I had any advice to do with coaching and it was a minimal sentence.

I will highlight "A LOT OF CUSTOM GAMES" / 3-5 DUO GAMES / each day we go into custom game and review some stuff about wave management /movement /atk move / tips /some focus / avg csing and some other tips/stuff around map, can also show u some mistakes that were done previously

The only thing i received from custom games, where How to AA properly and stay out of the targets range while using Kai sa ult and using "A" button to aa, nothing of those mentioned above was ever taught to me. Thus making again, his point invalid.

Clearly what I was supposed to receive. You are gravely mistaken, and lying to the moderators, and staffs face. You did not provide what you said in this post. These accounts are verified. And no original info was provided alongside the email. Measly logins of used accounts that are honour level 1/2 and are NFA.

Please be truthful for once in your life, lying will not get you anywhere.

1) VOD games (Basically he sends me a game and I review it and provide tips to improve) which I happily delivered plenty off of.

2) Custom games - We've done one only but our focus was poured mainly on the VODS.

The screenshots are messages from the account we were "duo" on. None of those games was provided as "coaching" "duo" games. Rather, just you trolling and having fun on your own to relax. Your point is meaningless

I stand by what I said yesterday:
- You failed to complete the 'coaching' in a reasonable time frame, much of what was promised was never delivered
- The premise for your coaching is based upon lies/a rank which you've never achieved
- By your own admission you blocked the user for no valid reason
- Instead of trying to rectify your mistakes, you instead send a fake invoice so you can keep hold of the €100 payment

You've since then recovered an account you sold him as well.

You've been DNT + Banned, feel free to dispute this once you return the €100 + account back to @george attalides.
