Need help asap

Hi I don’t usually post things on the internet but would like some advice, I sold my old school runescape account to “Accountwarehouse” and it was all going fine, they paid the money into my paypal and I thought that was the end. I received an email today claiming that I have recovered the account and that then will take it further as it is “fraud”. I don’t even own a computer anymore let alone have time to play games. Which is why I sold the account in the first place, I have emailed them saying that it was not me and what I should do, but they’re threatening to take it further and not listening that it was NOT me who recovered it. I suffer with bad anxiety and this is just too much for me at the moment. I genunnly have not recalled the account as they have claimed. I’m just looking for help, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you so much

 

Was the account actually recovered though? If so, did you claim to be the original owner of the account?

 

I’m not sure if it was recovered or not, I don’t know how to check any of that. I’m legit in the dark about all of this, they’re claiming it has been recalled but I’m not even sure if it has and they’re trying to get money out of me?

 

I'm not to familiar with accountwarehouse or whatever but I'm under the impression the account may of actually of been recovered, not saying it was recovered by you but someone recovered the account & being you're the one that they paid for it, you're their only route to take. I suggest looking into it further perhaps trying to assist them in getting access back to the account?

 

It seems a bit fishy to me, they made me change all of the information and hand over the account, a month on it’s apparently been “recalled” and they’re taking action against me. The only person that could recover that account is me, no one else knew any information. As I said I have not recovered the account, maybe the person they sold it to is just trying to get their money back or something? I’m unsure what to do as I have put it a request for the account to be recovered but no longer have accesss to the email anyway?

 

Do you happen to have any of the previous evidence from the sale? Like when you sold them the account?

 

I’m sure I have the emails yeah, but they’re saying unless I return the account within 24 hours which I do not have access too then they will be taking action against me? Really worried and not sure what to do

 

I get a ton of those types of emails and i usually blacklist sender. almost every fraud email you get is from a phisher thats trying to send you to a dummy site and steal your account.

Are you sure that its even legit, is the senders email @runescape.com

 

He received the email from accountwarehouse, not from runescape.

Weird story. Hopefully it works out for you man. Get in contact with accountwarehouse and make sure they have proof of you recovering the account.

 

They say they have evidence but I don’t believe that because I genuinely haven’t recovered the account. They say they’re going to take legal action if I don’t return the account but I can’t return something I don’t have.

Taking legal actions? Thats laughable as fuck. They are violating the game rules by accountsharing so there business is illegal in the first place.

 

They’ve just said my time is up and they are going to escalate the situation. What if they make it look like I’ve done something I haven’t? Quite worried tbh

They’ve just made a claim trying to get their money back, put in a counter claim because it’s ridiculous. They know exactly what they’re doing.

Reading back through this I get what you meant now, no i was the original owner and the only people that knew the information is me, Accountwarehouse and whoever they probably sold it too. Never again I tell ya haha
