Everyone should get 99 cooking

99 Cooking is really beneficial.
Skill total levels, XP, and with sharks you make over 100,000 gold / hour on your way to 99.
You also make 260,000+ XP/HR when you cook sharks.
Whoever doesn't have it should go for it.

 

Yea one of the easiest 99s. Easy to do while watching a movie. It was my first 99 and i’ve gotten it a few more times since.

Altought it's easy an fast, 100k/h profit as a member seems pretty terrible even if it's afk.

 

When does the profit kick in, surely you burn a lot until 90+?

 

If you cook in Hosidius Kitchen with cooking gaunlets (Family crest quest) starting from lvl89 cooking you don't burn any.
note - Players must have 100% favour with the Hosidius House in order to use the range.

 

I was more or less just stating that you can make 270,000 XP / HR while profiting of 100k+/hr and it's really a good 99 to get because you can make a few mil getting mad xp

 

Still Very true. I have 16m cook xp because of that its just good exp.

 

IMO there are better afk money makers.

 

How long does it take doing sharks? Is it better to do wines instead?

 

Depends on which level you start cooking them. If you use Hosidius Kitchen from level 89 with 0% burn rate it will take you 39,011 sharks to get to 99.
If you start from 80 it will take you 52,612 sharks to 99, + the ones you will burn. You can cook up to 1k - 1.3k per hour.

Making wines is obviously better xp and more expensive.

270k exp/hour is really crazy I didn’t know that.

Just did some calculations, it will take me about 40 hours of doing sharks for 99 cooking. I never thought of doing this but now I am. Glad I stumbled upon your thread, 99 cooking, here I come!!!

 

Wow, didn’t know this. I’ve gotten 99 cooking through wines but I had no idea that sharks are that profitable / few exp!

 

How much exp/h are wines if you don’t mind me asking?

 

Wines are 450k-500k xp/h, depending on how fast you click and bank. Also they need ~10-12 seconds to ferment giving you a huge xp drop when you take them out of your bank.

Edit: so if my calculations are correct current gp per xp on wine method is .885gp/xp

 

It's fast mate. If you've got 4-5 hours to play per day you'll get the 99 in about a week. And another plus is wines are doable in f2p I think

 

Ah so wines are roughly 1.62x faster exp than sharks (assuming 280k/h for sharks and 450k/h for wines).

But way less afk and costs quite a bit, don’t have that much. I think I’ll stick to sharks for now. Thanks for the info!

Yeah but tbh I can’t inagine doing wines for 4-5 per day, I’d go nuts lol! And yes I believe wines are doable in F2P.
