Zune 80GB vs Ipod Touch

Well... Bush is sending out those tax refunds.. soon to get mine in may ($600)

So planning on spending it on an mp3 player


What are your reviews....

Ipod Touch
I want it because I can jailbreak it, install 100 games, youtube, and its amazing!

Zune
I want this because its cheaper and it holds 80 GB!!!!! holy crap.

But what should i go for...

Easy modding, games, quality

or

massive storage

 

If anything, get an iPod Video Classic, 80GB/160GB

If you must have either, get the Zune. The touch is an expensive piece of shit.

i myself, have had a 80GB Ipod(the first one) and it was OK. i then sold it and got an Ipod touch when it came out. and honestly, i love this ipod touch. just everything about it is better then the normal ipod or that Zune except the size. touch screen, the screen is really nice, lots of features, internet etc. it truely is amazing. if you were going to get Ipod Touch, i'd recommend 32GB. so in the end, Zune or Ipod touch. i'd say go for Ipod touch

 

if you only need it for mp3/video,go with zune

I don't know if I would listen to 80gb worth of music.

but i do watch movies on trips and the zune can hold lots of those

 

I have a Zune 30 and it is absolutely great for movies, and you will be able to homebrew for zunes later this year with C# and maybe VB.

 

I prefer to watch movies on my home cinema, one would think why you'd want to on a small screen like that, unless you're constantly on the move, which isn't the case for most.

I'll second that - My 80 gig is brilliant <3 only ipod ive had that hasnt broken after six months. Couple of dents in the back though haha

theyre pretty chunky though. The ipod touch looks like a big of a gimmick.

if anything buy an iphone?

 

I have a Zune 4GB, it works alright, and does the job. I wanted an higher GB of course, but not going to complain because it was a gift.

 

Id go with the itouch

 

um.... zune is better than ipod....i think.

not only is the screen clearer but it is bigger and zune is on sale many times.




i have a ipod touch which i got for christmas and it is sweet.

but heres the thing........

no way your gonna use all the 80 gb for music right? i had ipod 30 gb when it came out but sold it after parents bought me touch and i put only liek 1gb of music on it(about 500 or so songs) and the rest of the gbs i put movies on it.

heres my suggestion.

you can get a regular 2gb mp3 for 35 bucks by sandisk(one of the best companies in mp3 and memory stuff) on black friday.

i prefer the itouch since you can get on internet and store 8gb of music and stuff.

unless your a movie person than get zune


edit--- THE IPOD SCREEN IS KIND OF EASY TO BREAK THOUGH AND THE ITOUCH INSURANCE DOESNT COVER IT( MY FRIEND BROKE HIS LOL)

 

i would go with the zune my brother recently purchased one and it is soo much better than the ipod. i have a 3rd gen nano and i've had soooo much trouble with it and apple customer service is horrible there all indians(not supposed to be racist) that i can't understand! but then again the ipod touch is pretty sweet my friend has one and i love it.so its really personal preference i suppose

 

every kid gets 300 and every adult gets 600. any way u should def get the zune! more user friendly.
