Bye for Now, Sythe

Edit: I'm fine with @Dank and @Talon and @Time To Buy deciding if I should be banned from Sythe. Already banned on discord. I shouldn't have free reign of the website (I was never really a market user anyway) and I don't have the self-discipline to stay off of here. While it is a great outlet for me when my mental health seems like it is deteriorating, I never should have re-earned my original privileges to post again on here. That isn't to say I think DNT is a shitty system, it has pros and cons like anything else. I want to thank @Sythe for giving me that opportunity to return.

I also want to thank everyone in 151 chat for banning me until I make things right. I honestly think it's a kick in the ass I was unable to give myself. I need to seriously change the current direction of my life and stop borrowing money I know will be difficult to pay back. Especially when I owe so much to the government as it is with crippling student loan debt.

So I ask for a mod/admin to give me a long term ban. I know you don't do SRBs anymore, just normally ban me. Don't make me circumvent anything and break random rules to get banned, I'm not trying to piss anyone off here. Honestly I considered taking this course of action 2 months ago but was talked out of it. But I'm glad it's happening now. I need to be smarter with my money, become more solvent, and be motivated to come back. There's no real motivation to return to "full account status" when I have access to the website and discord. I should not have access to these features and honestly it was selfish of me to accept them in the first place.

Thanks to all the mods and general users who make this site a blast. I really don't know when I'm going to be able to make it right with everyone, but I know it will probably never happen if I continue to be unpunished and not held accountable.

Just know it was never malicious, and I think the people that really know me know this. If I had the cash or made thousands off of crypto or some shit I'd be square with everyone. Sadly I just never have any kind of disposable income that isn't being sucked into the eons of real life bills I have (which are usually almost also always paid late). But it is what it is. That's the real world.

A long term ban is the only drastic measure I can see toward rectifying these problems. I'll admit, it's easier to put "sythe problems" on the backburner when there's no real net loss occurring. Like I said I have full access to everything I had before. Take that away and hopefully it's the kick in the ass I need.

Thanks again to everyone, I harbor no ill-will toward anyone and any time I was memed and creamed or memed and creamed you it was all in jest, I can assure you. But if I'm worth my salt and actually take Sythe seriously, then I need to right my wrongs. I'll try to make a post in the dispute section in 3-6 months time (dependent on actual, tangible progress) updating the community.


So with that I say bye for now, but I hope not fulfilling the meme of bye forever. If I didn't give a shit about the community I would have walked away years ago. But I do care about it and I do care about my reputation, even if it is an "e-reputation".

What a coincidence! You get called out on scamming multiple users and consistently lying to them about your intentions of repaying and now all of a sudden you're taking a "break" from Sythe. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we never heard from you again. You are scum and should be treated as such until you repay EVERYONE you have scammed with your "loans".

 

The chat logs are there, I told Talon I'd leave Sythe+Discord until actual progress was made. He said not to. He was being merciful. But they're all in the logs.

I told him I could see it being a slap in the face actively participating on Sythe + in Discord and said I'd request a ban. Back in November.

 

And I agree, I should be treated as such, therefore I should have no functionality or access to the site whatsoever. I already admitted to having a lack of discipline in regards to staying off it.

 

Lol you make it seem as if this site was back in its prime and there was actually something to look forward to coming back to. In reality though there’s like maybe 30 active users on here and you taking a leave certainly won’t help.

But kudos to your optimism and resolve to make things right - I guess I’ll see you whenever you return (if this site is still running).

 

It's been pretty dead for quite a while, if anything that should have made it easier to cash out and leave. Like Djw and Karl did. Honestly I know words mean absolutely nothing. But I wanted to make this public versus private.

I fully admit I needed to be punished by an outside party to be motivated. But if I'm going to be punished it should be a full punishment. No sythe either. Doesn't make any sense to have access to it.

It's to forcibly stay off it more than anything.

 

The chat logs also have your MONTHS worth of lies. Every time one of the victims would message Duke, Duke would come up with a fresh excuse. He'd often times talk about how he had some money coming his way and could repay part of the debt, but fell through EVERY time.

It's worth noting that Duke has scammed one user for ~ 4+ years with a 4 digit "loan"
And the other two victims have not received a dollar back after ~ 1+ year

 

But hey, prove me wrong. Show me that you really aren't the piece of shit you've shown yourself to be when lying to your scam victims.

 

I admitted to Talon a lot of the time it was telling him what he wanted to hear out of fear which was a bad move. Again, read the entire logs.

As far as Derik is concerned, I don't ever recall a single message from him asking for an update. Nor was that close to "1+ yr" not that it matters.

Basically the only way I can see how to rectify this is a full on exile until actual progress is made.

I'm not denying I've made very minimal progress. It's because I haven't been adequately punished.

Again I'm glad you banned me, it's the only way to actually have an actual punishment imposed.

 

Laughable how you're acting like it's your scam victim's responsibility to message you for an update. Nope. That's all on you. And fuck off with saying you haven't repaid anyone because you haven't been punished. Both you and I know that's horse shit. You've had years to do so and have taken zero initiative.

 

I mean hey, I'm fine staying unbanned and facing the music of the ~40-50 people that actually still use the site. I'm just saying that method has proven pretty fruitless in me making actual progress.

 

Yes you should stay and keep us updated on the progress you make. Stop trying to use that excuse of "I have to exile myself from the community to make actual progress". NO YOU DONT LMAO.

 

I wouldn't say zero, as my debt to TTB has been lessened. But I will say yes, it's hard to prioritize internet debts over real life ones. I was making more progress with my debts when I was actually banned. Aka actually punished. I'm not blaming anyone else for this. It's my own lack of self control and my fault. That's the entire point of the thread. It's not like I get some massive gain out of this thread. Hell, I won't even be without criticism even if I do make it right with everyone.

And again, I told Talon I would do this months ago. If he's saying I didn't oh well. He said not to do it. I'm sure he will tell the truth about saying that.

 

I really think I do though, you seem to think I'm bitter about the discord ban - I'm actually really grateful. I already admitted I don't have the balls or self discipline to do it myself. What could I possibly have to gain from admitting that?

I would appreciate a line of communication being opened up on Skype or Discord though to you Derik (and you through Talon). I have TTB on FB. I will only message when it's about repayment.

I'm fine not taking the Sythe ban but I really don't see why I should be allowed to post. That just seems backwards to me.

 

Remember when you told TTB you had sent him $15 out of the THOUSANDS you owe him? This was months ago and TTB is yet to see that $15. This nigga is so fucking scummy that he lies about $15 to someone he previously claimed as his "best friend".

Edit: Probably going to be my last post on this thread. Duke is remarkably good at coming up with lies and excuses. If any moderators would like to see how manipulative and scummy this guy truly is, feel free to message me for the logs.

Can't really say I remember what this is in reference to. Only that from my recollection I did a job for him that ended up being terminated later, by TTB himself. It is what it is. He said, she said. I don't think I want to disclose TTB's personal life to appease the drama whores sure to lurk on this thread.

You lack context on a lot of your claims. I understand you're just defending your friend(s). Respectable. But you also knew I owed Talon for quite a while, so you had free reign (and just cause) to ban me much earlier than you did. In the end that would have been beneficial for everyone.

 

I mean I'll leave it up to you Derik and TTB whether you want me banned from the site or not. It's your call. Frankly I still think (like 2 months ago) that I'd be better served banned. I'd appreciate it if you acknowledged I said I would do this, though it's fine if you don't.

The discord ban is a good start but I still think it should be a full ban.

 

Ask TTB and I'm sure he'll be happy to remind you. He seemed very upset that you would lie about sending such a small amount so I'm sure he'll remember.

Again, you're acting like because I didn't kick you from a discord chat that I'm responsible for you not repaying your scam victims. Fucking laughable. You are the one that told us in your pardons that you would make progress on your debts and keep us updated. You have failed to do so.
