I still don't know what 'overclocking' is?

It does have 3GB of RAM, 500GB HD, and i do have a intel quad core.

 

Increasing the core speed of the cpu that it works on, for example a quad 6600 running at 2.4ghz can be clocked to for example 3.8ghz, increasing the fsb in the bios and various settings.

 

Okay....can someone tell me how to 'clock' my computer then ?

Idiots aside, If you want to overclock your pc your going to have to have some sufficient cooling. I have an e-book that goes over the basics of Oc'ing and what to do. Also if you bought your pc at say walmart or somewhere I doub't you can oc your pc because the settings on your mobo are locked.

If your using windows the clock is on the bottom right of the screen. Just right click and then select adjust date/time and synch it with your cellphone.

 

I think he means Overclock as in make a pc part go faster than it usually does by editing FSB and Voltages.

 

I dont overclock i have no use for it and it voids the warranty. Its not hard to overclock (sometimes) you can just go into your bios and change it. And other times they make programs for it. Saying that your computers better than mine only proves you have more money. And i know where to get pc's at a good price.

Wow you advise using a program in windows to overclock something other than a graphics card? Wow good way to mess up your cpu. Bios is the only way to go. Me saying I have a better pc than you means I have alot of money? Dude, I saved for a year and worked hard for those parts. I didn't get them handed to me like some kid who gets a new ipod every other week, Nah man I had to skip out on birthdays and shit to save money.
