What the fuck, I've known about this guy for a long time but I never knew he lived 20 minutes from me lol. I was reading the news article and saw his parents were treated at Albany Medical Center which is where I live...small world

You clearly haven't read up at all, so stop judging. Found another video someone made, pretty sure it was oak dice or whatever his name is. A few close friends of this guy told him the general story or background story.
Firstly, his dad was abusive, or so they say. Also they reiterated that this guy had never ever been violent and he never was like this. But he had been abused by his dad. The day this happened, he caught his dad beating his mother (if I can remember correctly) or his dad went to beat him, one of the two and so he just snapped and raged out on his dad. His mother tried to intervene and stop it and got caughtup in it, these people said he loved his mum and wouldn't ever intentionally hurt her so it was an accident that he hit her. He then had no idea of what to do so ended up running, probably felt shit and felt he had no other choice...

I think there's always more than 1 side to the story, and I think the news spun it off to sound more like his fault apparently. Check on it yourself but this is what I remember hearing, in which case I don't think it's his fault at all...

 

I'm sure if this was the case jagex would find some bull reason to ban him lmao, highly doubt he has that much but I believe he may have a decent amount.

You're right in doubting that he has 9T, it hasn't been proven yet, but it does seem likely it's real as he actually once gave away 250B on his 'Moltrinex' account, worth 1.5T. But I don't agree with your first point- I don't think that Jagex would want to just ban him for being that wealthy, plus it would surely mess up the economy of the game that much gold going out of circulation. If he ever tried to real world trade then yes his account would probably be banned that same day.

actually, his phats arent actually being used in circulation. he hoarded them, yes, but this was in the days since released, when he collected hundreds if not thousands of phats.
