MM2 Requirements

For anyone who's curious about the MM2 stat and quest requirements, here's the full list:



Glad the slayer req isn't as high as I thought it would be, I'm probably going to be training up thieving to 70+ instead to prepare. Also, this quest apparently might require a partner to complete, much like Heroes'. Not a big fan of that aspect if it's true.

whats the reward for doing this

 

New BIS ranged necklace, magic bracelet, and melee amulet, and a ring with decent defensive bonuses. There are other rewards too that haven't been revealed yet.

Here I am training 1 last crafting lvl for lunar diplomacy like "damn this is hard' and i'm going to have to get 9 more, not to mention 25 slayer levels, 31 hunter levels

fortunately already have the thieving/agility/all the quest requirements since i'm near quest caped at like 90 cb (lunar diplomacy, dream mentor, devious minds, grim tales and mourning's end 2 left with barely any requirements left to do and no requirements for mourning's end i just got mad at it and ragequit lel)

but this is gonna be the grind

 

This is going to be released in OSRS as well?

 

The slayer level will definitely take the longest to get, the other stat reqs aren't really that bad. Thankfully they removed the partner element of the quest so there's no real need to rush to get it done. Good luck getting the rest of the requirements

MM2 actually hasn't been released in RS3. The OSRS dev team is trying to stay away from storylines that have already been explored as they don't want to either have conflicting lore or just copy paste content over (which I think is a shame).

 

Exciting content. Definitely start working on the stats for this quest!

 

That is a shame, this would be a fun/nostalgic quest to go through.

Oh I think you might have misunderstood what I wrote. MM2 will be a quest exclusive to OSRS, so it's all completely new content. I do still think it would be cool to go through existing RS3 questlines - like the elf ones - in different ways though.

My main is fairly new so I have a long way to go, but I'm really excited for MM2, MM was definitely my favorite quest alongside DT.

 

I expected the requirements to be a little higher. You can easily get these stats in 3-5 days starting from lvl 1 across the board.

 

it would be a fuck of a grind to get those stats in that time frame

I'm fine with getting the Slayer requirements but the Hunter requirement is probably gonna make me sad IRL.

MM and DT were a pain in the ass but Mourning's End Pt. 2 is definitely the worst. My favorites were Legend's Quest/Recipe For Disaster/King's Ransom. Cold War with the Penguins was also interesting lol.

 

I'm guessing they probably didn't want to make the requirements too high so that more people can do the quest and provide feedback on it.

Yeah low-level hunting is a huge pain. I got mine up to 47 so I don't think leveling it up to 60 will be too bad now that I can hunt salamanders, but I guess I'll have to see. Also, what did you think of Ratcatchers? :sick:

I never found hunter to be that bad of a skill, tbh. Mining is probably one of the more difficult skills for me to enjoy. Also construction, I never really enjoyed con. I dont have the mind for designing a nice house and is pretty pointless as far as money making goes.

 

Construction is solely intended to make you spend money and is a pain in the ass. Mining is easy if you just semiAFK Motherlode Mine while doing other stuff.
