Old 1 Defence Pure (Fully Quested) What do with him?

I made a 1 defence pure a few years ago when OSRS first launched.

Quested him to get all the neat gear (bear head, ancients, ect)

I'm aware that the meta has drastically changed since then, and as such I thought I'd ask you guys where I should go with my stats/account in general?

Get range up to 82 and head pking, if you enjoy pking of course.

 

Train the range and range to dds spec pk.

 

was kind of thinking of that, im really into pvp/pking but the meta has changed alot in the last few years so I'd have a pretty steep slope to climb in learning (switches, when to eat, meta surrounding server connection and "ticks", ect)

was kind of curious if you guys knew where the 1 defence pures have the biggest advantage in nowadays?

 

stake or get 90+ str and pk looks like a good account

 

Stick with the 1 def and train range/strength. Risk PK and watch the GP stack up

 

Do the quests for NMZ and max it out as a pure

 

I suggest getting 43 prayer, getting a firecape and heading over to NMZ to max. This also opens up oppurtunities like chinning and bursting, assuming you haven't completed MM. 43 prayer also allows you to use overheads for bridding if that's something you're interested in.

 

Maxing out seems like your next step, if you have a decent cash stack you can chin some range (I'd recommend getting 75 first). Magic will also be easy to max so you can barrage, grab 43/44 prayer and then slowly NMZ your strength levels to dominate in wildy.

 

yea, unfortunately I completed MM :/ that means I can't chin on the island right? how about barraging?

Going to need to find an alternative way to train range, and splash mage to 99. Wish I knew about not completing MM back in the day. All the pures were finishing it when I played.

Very nice account. You could train range in NMZ, but you would probably have to get 43 prayer, or look up a guide on doing NMZ without 43 pray.

I would definitely stick to your pure if you enjoy PKing. If you plan on playing for more than a couple months, splash your mage everytime you go to work / go to sleep, and you'll be 94+ in no time.
