Wondering if I could start an essay writing business on here?

Would it be possible if I were to start an essay writing business on here? The essays would be High School + level and I would charge around $50 per essay.

Thoughts?

 

I think a few people have tried to start something like this before, never really caught on w/ people buying essays.

And really I think people would only buy from you if you could show some proof of being able to write well. It's fully allowed though.

 

I'm almost positive this isn't really allowed any more, but I could be totally wrong. The whole issue with it is what happens when the person purchasing the essay receives a poor mark? What if it's only a satisfactory mark? What if the seller believes it was an aces essay but the student disagrees? How do the payments work? Too much issue and drama. There's actual (somewhat) professional websites out there that will write essays for students, so they may as well just go there instead.

 

I do an essay writing service, each time I bump it I get business. You do it in the real life sales section.

The sites are of questionable quality. $90 for 1000 word college essay is the norm while I charge $35 and get it done faster.

 

$50 is too much IMO. But you can give it a try I guess!

 

$50 for an essay that could easily take 10+ hours to create? In internet terms that's pretty fair. 10 hours via minimum wage is $72.50.

 

It's allowed, but I'd suggest posting some sort of a resume or verifying you're at a top - notch school...

 

$50 isn't unreasonable. I charge $35 for a 1000 word essay. It takes me an hour or two max, not sure where you're getting 10 hours from. I'd do them more often but it's work and I'm lazy lol.

I never posted any proof, but I have like 5 people that have vouched me and reordered.

 

Yeah... I'm a High School student so I don't think I could get any credibility here. I was just wondering because my friend just recently paid me $20 for an essay I had already turned in, just a business idea.

 

I think a system where the buyer could dispute the essay and have a group of mods settle it would be easy to put in place. I like the idea of selling essays.

 

I'd buy one because i hate school. it would work.

 

Well one person isn't gonna convince me to start one, and as others stated they charge $35 each so hit them up !

 

Go on and try it. It's allowed as far I'm aware and you never really know unless you try it. But think it through on how you'll create some initial credibility through whatever methods like giving a review essay on a specific topic? There really isn't start up cost so you have nothing to lose but maybe a few hours.

 

I'd say go for it if you really pay attention to your business.

 

1000 words essay only takes 10 hours if you lurk around a lot, no $50 is not reasonble because I would have no gurantee.

Honestly I wouldn't bother I would never trust a high school kid to write an essay for me, maybe wait until you get into a highly respected college or uni or w/e its called for ya

edit: 10 hours for an essay would make me feel highly uncomfortable it sounds like minimal effort

 

I'm just a high school kid with an imagination of starting a business. Hoping to start a business tonight that will involve me driving to people's houses, grabbing their computers, removing their viruses and giving the computer safely back to them. Of course I'll be charging them but I felt like this is a smart idea and I'll see how it works out. If that doesn't work out I'll start designing banners for local business around my area.

 

i respect the hustle but ya definitely try to get into some sort of college before writing essays, not sure how many high school students need essays written (i had to write maybe 5 take home essays my entire highschool career, the rest were all in class) but there's def a market for lazy college kids, but nobody is going to trust a highschool kid with writing those unless you've got some seriously proven results

your idea about mobile virus repair is cool, but just keep in my that the second something goes wrong on their computer (even if it's they moved a file and forgot that they moved it) they'll start blaming your ass.

 

Honestly doubt you would get many orders at $5/100 words for an essay, especially if it isn't a difficult subject.

You assume it would take you 10 hours to create a 1,000 word essay and charging minimum wage is fair, but in reality, content creation can be easily outsourced for far cheaper.

I probably know half a dozen people who can get what I need done that are professionals that charge at the price you do, if not less.

You'd only get takers if your writing is seriously amazing, or someone is just incredibly desperate.
