How old were you when you first discovered RuneScape and how did you hear about it?

I was around 12-13 years old.
My brother was playing a RS with his buddies from school and he showed it to me. I said it was stupid and I'd never play it.
Then, we went to the library one day and his friends and him got me to try the tutorial. It was fun and I got competitive. I wanted to beat my brother and all of his friends so I played the game a lot. It wasn't long that I pasted them. Then I wanted to pass everyone of my friends who I met in the game.
And here we are, around 8 years later. I did complete my goals in the game though. so currently I do not play.

 

Seventh grade, went to my cousins house one night for a family dinner. I walk in and he tells me he's playing this game called RuneScape.

Here I am, nine fucking years later still addicted to this piece of shit game...

I first got into RuneScape 2 when I was 9.

when RSC was the only Runescape, one of my brother's friends had told him about it and we both made accounts. He didn't like it and I couldn't remember the URL or the name of the game to try it.

He was then told about RS2 and how it's much better, that night we both created accounts.

To this day I still play on the same account, my brother quit a long time back maybe 06 or 07 but gaming isn't really his thing anymore.

 

Believe it or not my first day was Christmas day 2002 my cousin introduced me i was 11 at the time. I'll forget because it was the day Santa hat's were dropped. Not a bad time to start I guess lol.

I found at in like 6th grade after school at a friends house. And lmao I really had the same thought just now as I thought back about when I started this game.

I'd watch elvemage pk vids sometimes before I left for school...lol damn

 

My buddy showed me runescape when I was 8 years old. I was so obsessed with the game one summer I got my first membership for my birthday. I didn't leave my computer so my parents actually grounded me off of the computer and it wasted my membership. I remember real tears. Reminder I was like 11.

 

I was about 8 when i saw the game on miniclip so i decided to check it out and instantly got hooked.

Haven't been on the damn game for about 7 years since then.

When I was 13 lol.
I think somebody on school was playing it, and it just stuck with me.
I tried to quit for a few years, only to come back to it after a few months

 

I started scaping in 2006, when I was moving to secondary school from primary school and my mates at primary had heard about it from older brothers etc.

 

I can't really remember my first time playing Runescape.... I know it was around the 5th grade range and that was in ... holy shit ... like around 2006.. I've noticed that someone else played on Miniclip and I did too... My older brother and his friends started up a runescape account and I saw him play and I knew it was on my favorite game site. I created an account and I do not remember its name/password. I remember I got to the level 38 and then I created a new one since I know how I wanted to train(not really).. I remember my newer account and I leveled up to about 68 and I was so happy! After that my cousin made a pure and for some reason, I created like 4 of them... I've probably made 50 accounts lol and I love the one that I am on now. The first time I bought membership was about 2009 to 2010... and that was amazing.


Well, I don't want to tell you guys my life story.. so I will leave it off there.. But RS is apart of my life... I've probably threw in over 4 years in-game time... who knows!

 

Made my first account in 2007 after a cousin showed me the game, didn't continue because I was lost. Then properly got into the game early 2008 when a group of class mates played it.

 

Oh god... 6 years ago, when I was 12. Many friends were playing it but didnt know really what it was. I discovered it on miniclip.

 

I was 10 and my neighbor got me into playing it.

 

March 20-30th 2005. I remeber this cuz I got the rubber chicken and spent like 2 hours hitting people.

It was at the public library when I first seen the game, it was probably 2003, all the gr 8's were playing it, but it was RSC, and it didn't look that good of a game at the time.

 

One of my friends at school got me hooked onto it.
