ok so heres my latest piece.

That graffiti needs a bit of work man, start simple, do keyboard letters

 

well i cant help you with painting cuz i honestly suck at it. but for the graffiti try to make you letters take up about the same space , if you notis the G is big. and you got alot of negative space in the g. an your 3d is awful, try looking up 1 point perspective.

when I graffiti its normally thick paint markers, spray cans, or airbrush. Drawling with actual paint is 100x easier than just sketching up a tag. I normally just use gimp to sketch up tag ideas anyways.

I already knew the lettering was really sloppy the g shouldnt be empty at all it should be filled with the backdrop. Buuuut Im poor and I ran out of eraser on my pencil and accidently started going over the g with the wrong shade of green I was mostly just happy with the new character dudes I got in that :3 that and I war trying out the rust drip look.


also normally with 4 letter tags iether the first or last letter is going to be alot. larger than the rest of the text.

I wish I could put up my actual spray but I wont. not until I move in 2 months and start paying for vpn's again.

 

Nice man. I especially like the monster one.

 

Update since I haven't really touched sythe in forever









first two are the oldest just messing around learning different drawing styles and basics.
3-4 were me developing and practicing my drawing with sharpies
5 is my first time coloring with prismacolor markers the g sucks I know
6 is my favorite its the most recent and best executed, there's still a few flaws but overall its better than the rest.
7 is recent but trying to practice new techniques.not super satisfied but still better than my old stuff.

 

Keep doodling, focus on classical forms if you want to progress

 

Nice! You should buy a graphics tablet and photoshop and make paintings!

 

I really like the second picture, But watch the way you draw animated characters, a blocky pikachu never looks good

 

I like the work presented here. It shows progression. I know little to nothing about graffiti work, but it all looks good imo.

the graffiti stuff kinda sucks besides stickerslaps but w.e forever progressing.

 

Really good, very creative. Have you ever thought of getting a graphics tablet and opening a shop on Sythe? You can get a really good one for less than $100 (a lot less actually).

keep going with this you developing your skills really good. keep up the work man! the only thing that that i see that needs improvement is your line work within the letters. if you notice in almost all of your work the lines in the letters are very shaky and sloppy, idk if you do your whole pieces in 1 session. If so try breaking it up into 2 sessions so that you will be refreshed, because it looks like you get to the end and you just want it to be done so you are trying to hurry but your going slow to stay steady and it will make you shaky. that is something that i have learned. or you can slow down or speed up, as you may probably know from painting there is 2 ways 2 get a nice crispy line.
slow = control , speed = nice smooth lines
but you have to learn how control both methods, it takes alot of time to master this.

 

I actually haven't painted much at all I guess I should start. I have 24 pack of prismacolors (all dry) and 12 copics (all dry) and a large box full of sharpies (mostly dry) I can get pretty straight lines with a can but I can't really show any of that online. my lines where getting str8 for awhile but then I changed how I was drawing. I was just letting my wrist sit on the pages as I drew, but I want to eventually start doing black and white shading with pencils so letting my wrist sit is a no go. Have to relearn the muscle memory now. I try to drawl at least 1 piece a day minimum to keep skills and progressing but I just started again from a 2 month hiatus. moved to michigan from georgia to grow medical cannabis and had to redo the house I'm living in now. I'm just to the point where I can focus on just growing and drawing so im kinda in paradise lol.

I do do all my drawings in 1 session btw. and almost everything I draw is just on a whim. In another year or so (or when I feel my color work and line work are good enough) im going to redraw all of my favorite things. I have all my scraps,drawings,paintings in a chest in my room so I can go through and see my progression.
