Grand pod seed lure

Someone named iSkiller XP tried to convince me to anti lure, but im 100% paranoid when it comes to rs. Im sure he was trying to lure me, but I dont have proof and its bugging me.

He showed me this video to convince me its safe, standard.
And he had me watch him do it to someone, earning him 100m, standard.


Someone gives you a tele (grand pod seed) and lots of cash, tells you to drop rare item and then use tele(not in those words obviously). So it should be as safe as not using the tele right?

This is where paranoia sinks in, its never that simple, there has to be a trick to it.

Im sure theres something I dont know or that im missing...if anyone knows what it might be pls post. Im thinking they'd hope I wait 60 seconds in the trade screen so the rare appears on the ground, but that seems too obvious.


If im wrong I just cussed out a really (overly) nice guy.

 

it may be they try to stall u first, then if it doesnt work use the grand seed pod, id actually wanna try that lol, but id drop my phat for 30 secs max lol

 

Theres also a possibility of being ddos'd if you do business through skype, so be careful.

I was looking into banking it remotely with an imp box but Im too noob to make one lol.

I wonder if theres a way to reverse anti lure this method.

 

Isn't the way to reverse anti lure, just don't use the pod?

 

Thats the anti lure but Im thinking they have some kind of sneaky way to make you tele or log out. I'd need to know a way to counter this unknown part, if it even exists. Again, its just paranoia that leads me to think this.

Ive never had anyone try the pod lure on me before and I got two people trying me yesterday. Super fishy.

 

Never assume that you know how to anti-lure. That's how I was screwed out of a blue phat a while ago, it was obvious to me that there was a potential anti-lure and I acted on it. They anticipated that and I still lost my partyhat. It was very complex and something I never thought I'd be able to be fooled by.

 

Don't be greedy and involve yourself in it. Like said above as soon as someone asks you to drop something - leave.

 

There are a few lures I know how to counter- like the candle one; you could drop upstairs. And I had success getting free stuff from a guy who was trying to 'reverse anti lure' me at purple portal. but lets stay on topic please. Im wondering if theres another step to the pod lure.

This is the only time I havent gotten something from a lurer. Its usually at least 5m. At very least I can waste their time and learn some of their tricks.

Purple portal, yes. He gave me stuff to try make me think he was legit. And after I busted him he showed me the candle lure and taught me how it worked. Was a chill dude haha. We laughed about how his act was pretty transparent and how his team had fucked up at a few points.

I strung him along for like a day and a half. Still have him added lol.

 

oh lol, and about the grand seed pod lure thingy, i think ik wat it is: when u drop they spam u with teleother so u cant get ur item back, so the only thing i cud think to anti em wud be to keep ur assist on until the last moment and then turn it off so they cant spam u, just if u do drop ur items, dont have assist on and dont drop more then 20 secs

 

Either someone else tried it on me just now, or hes trying on other accounts.

Ive been approached while trying to lend a rare, seems like a pretty vulnerable spot. Idk about the teleother as idk how it works anymore. But it seems like a possibility.
