How do u feel about the removal of gambling?

Starting to miss it at this point it was equivalent to a part time job income wise and it was fun, not quite as 07 motivated as I thought.

 

Its a sign that you need to start doing something other than gambling

just adapt and move on

 

I have mixed feelings. It didn't help at all about scamming, the more common gambling became the more common scamming became. Jagex just hated it because you could win so much so fast. People are always going to find some way to sit and bet on anything that has options.

 

I'm happy it was removed. I was addicted to gambling and got cleaned a lot

and when it was removed i turned to IRC dicing
But now they're gone
i Dont play much anymore
lost hope in that game
i think they should make Npc to gamble at ( Even RSPS developers Make these imo )

 

it shuould have stayed. Its peoples choice in the end if they want to gamble they gamble if they don't they don't have to. Taking it away just took the choice away from people.

 

gambling ruins the game, i dont need to elaborate on what it did or how it impacted the Economy, but yea its horrible.

 

What did it do to the economy? People say this all the time but they are no economists, it's just an excuse people make because it sounds good. Gambling really didn't do anything to the economy.

I hesitate to post this here, because it is advertising, but at the same time it is highly relevant to the topic.

I used to work as the programmer for one of the major dicing clans, but I recently left in order to pursue my own goals regarding gambling. So since the removal of gambling, I have been working night and day on a solution that will bring gambling back to the masses.

The less trades done in game, the better. IRC is also not for everyone - it's not exactly easy to use. Thus, to me, the solution was obvious - a gambling website.

You trade an agent in game, giving him GP, which is converted to credits and added to your profile on the website. From here, you can use your credits to gamble with, and cash out at any time when your credits value is greater than 10M.

I could go on, but the best thing for you to do to learn about the website now is to try it out! If you are interested, the URL is located below. To anyone who joins, open the #Credits chat channel (where depositing and withdrawal usually occurs) and mention that you are from Sythe. I'll give anyone 2,000 credits (equivalent to 2M EoC), and I am happy to pay anybody out if they reach the required balance of 10,000 credits.

The only person able to take deposits at the moment is Swadq (me). Do not trust anyone else asking you to deposit.

Gambling was fun, sad it disappeared

 

tbh duel arena is where ive always done my gambling, so maybe introducing some kind of gambling for people like skiller or pures is a good idea.

Staking is the best, most fun, and most rewarding form of gambling in the game. I'm happy they made other forms of gambling against the rules.

Today an old better asked me to host him some flowers and show him my inventory after every plant. I took the risk of being banned/whatever they do to gamblers for old times sake. It was fairly fun but in the future I'll probably use a mule.

 

I am not following runescape anymore. How are they removing gambling?
