What kind of impact did Sythe.Org have in your life?

Personally, I've get to know more people here. People are always welcoming new faces and what not.

Sythe.Org has changed me a bit. It tells me to socialize more and not be alone etc. If you have problems, share with the members and I'm very sure you'll get help soon enough.

On a Market basis, I've gained a lot of buyers, sales and etc. One of the best Market I've gone into. Nothing beats Sythe.Org at the moment.

How about you?

 

Sythe hasn't really changed me IMO.. It probably has with me being on Sythe for 2 years +. But I haven't noticed anything significant enough to notice and everything in my life has pretty much remained the same.

I've met some cool and whacky people on here and it's nice to talk to them, but I wouldn't say my life has changed.

 

Uhhh.. considering I would spend everyday of my waking life on this website a few years ago, I would say both positive and negative.

I met some really great people but on the flipside I didn't take advantage of anything the site had to offer and never learned anything be it coding, GFX, etc.

 

Being a member/mod on sythe.org since my 9th grade year of high school and now being a senior in college a lot has happened. I have spent different stages of my life on this website and each on is better than the last.

Went I first started off on sythe.org I was just some runescape kiddie looking for a way to cheat. But then I found the irc, and stuck around for the community. Runescape continues to change but the people I have met on Sythe.org continue to be here, and now they are even helping me learn C#, PHP and Java.

Thanks Richard, Govind and all others for providing an outlet that has positivity benefited my life! The time I have spent here on here will change my life for better and for always!

 

Nothing, it had zero impact; no negative or positive results from using sythe.org. Only thing is it's funny to read my posts when I was like 12.

 

Made me rich on rs lol.....

 

Greatest impact was probably getting to know some people in the GFX forums who really helped me become who I am today.

 

Probably more bad than good LOL. I spend way too much time procrastinating.. but on the flip side I've met some good friends and enjoyed it so far.

Having the support centre here really helps me on a personal level, it's therapeutic to me to help people with similar problems to myself rather than feeling bad about my own.

 

It got me a job.

 

Actually 0 impact on me. I haven't made a dollar or anything. I still need to find my calling.

 

I've got to know more about programming since then because when I tried to post it on another forums, people was not to help. Some of them were not willing to help, but when I post on Sythe.Org, my thread got an instant reply right away a few days later

 

I probably already know and already asked.. But my memory sucks ass...

What Job and how?

Hasn't really had an impact on my life yet. It just fills my time when I'm bored of work, playing League, or socialising.

 

Its got me into trading and selling stuff and i started meeting new people

 

It made me some great friends, and showed me a whole new world.

 

Positive:
Great source of income
Solid community, met a number of online friends

Negative:
Time suck
Fueled Runescape addiction

 

Lost some cash, probabally boosted my credit, took away time, gained some cash, idk lol. Nothing significant, just a cool place to chill.

 

made me feel like rs is not worth playing since its so easy to buy money. they r cheap cheap compared to how i needed to work my ass off to earn a few m before i knew about black market n such

 

Well, Sythe has contributed a lot to my life.. over the past few months I have made a lot of money, and without the help of this website I wouldn't have that extra cash. In saying that, it does take up a lot of my time.
