Prison Architect

Has anyone heard of or played this game? The developers are doing a Minecraft like Alpha where you pay for the game and you get constant updates, or well updates as they come out and are in on the groundfloor.

The game is like a mix between dwarf fortress and a tycoon game. It gets difficult sometimes if you have constant influx on because every day you get a random number of prisoners (I think between 1 and 8) and if you don't have amenities for them then they get angry. This game is really early alpha but it is very playable (besides a few bugs, nothing too major but can be annoying and possibly game breaking at points) and has a lot of features (with even more to come)

 

Just got done watching videos of people playing it and now I want it, although I don't feel like paying $30 for an Alpha version of the game.

~Ended up getting it! It's a lot harder then you would think, maintaining your prison and what not. I've been playing for hours straight.....

 

Yeah, it's hardcore. You think it was going to be easy like Mall Tycoon or something, but it's not.
