    Considering going back to WoW.

I haven't played in years. I was only level 44 when I stopped, Ive been debating between WoW and Runescape. Everything is so different now in each game that its hard for me to choose.

I'm more a PvM such as.. God wars on Runescape. I don't really enjoy PvP.

    Any tips/Suggestions? =|

well in WoW pve is more team focused and you would mainly focus on endgame raiding, I personally enjoy pvp because its much more different than rs. It depends what you like as well rs is a more laid back afkable game but wow is a lot harder to afk but a lot easier to achieve endgame than rs is.

It takes about a month maximum from 1-90 if you play very casually (around 2 hours per day).

The main difference between the two games is WoW is focused on endgame content whereas rs is based on level progression. I personally find WoW more enjoyable but I know people who prefer rs over WoW.

WoW is not only PvP based. I really enjoyed playing their PvE as it's very team oriented, much more so than anything in RS. Strategies are required, although they seemed to make things a lot easier now. I quit playing WoW, but I did raid a ton in WoTLK. PvP was also lots of fun and now they even have new BGs in Panda. I think Cataclysm is free now, so they can get you to buy MoP. :p Have fun!

I strongly dislike Runescape Quest.. Too much for me. I just sometimes find WoW so overwhelming with content! Its funny when you complain about there being too many options! But my biggest issue of going back to Runescape is the inflation in the game which imo is a lot of what keeps anything going. Weapons are easier to reach because of the simple fact of buying gold online..

Yea I didn't really like the concept of questing on rs anymore when I went back to play, some quests are simply too long for the lack of rewards. On WoW many people complain the quests are fairly repetitive and they are pretty repetitive but if you don't like to read guides and quest then you will enjoy WoW quests over RS since they are fairly straight forward and most only take a couple of minutes.

RS quests have more of a story in each quest but WoW has pretty good lore as well if you follow the storyline.

WoW is good the only thing I don't like is the money sink hole but I think if you had a level 44 account before you would be eligible for Scroll of Resurrection giving you upto Cataclysm content saving you a couple of dollars and all you would have to spend is $40 for Mists and the monthly fee.

    Here's the link: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/services/scroll-of-resurrection/

Its worth trying and I think you get it as soon as somebody sends you the resurrection request.

Damn, that has some very nice perks. I'm sure I could find someone to do that.. that is appealing for sure.

Thank you, So how hard would it be for me to get into the swing of things for the people that quit? I would like to try and get into an active guild to actually find some friends in game.

Well on a high pop realm its fairly easy to get into things, I current;y play on area 52 but there are several high pop realms out there is your preference horde or alliance?

Illidian, area 52, mal'gainis, and black rock are best if you want to be horde.

Stormrage, kelthuzad, sargeras proudmoore are best for alliance.

I only limited those to the amount of players these are all high pop realms which would mean there is a lot to do on them. Some people like low population I personally prefer high population.

Here's a site for finding a good world for your preferences

I would play wow imo. I play it and rs and have had much better experiences on wow. It is pretty easy to get back into now especially with the spellbook telling you your rotation. You will have a blast leveling in mop althought it does get kinda long if your not efficient

Not the time to get back into WoW but that's just my opinion Pandaria has destroyed it IMO, I will be giving it a second chance when I update my PC again, but for now I've leavt it, totally prefer the old day's of gaming.
