Some speak of an upcoming color bot under the name VeloxBot.

Which bots would you suggest using?
Money is not an issue for this situation.

 

Now... pbot, rarebot and epicbot.

But nuke will kill them for a while.

Not to mention that Jagex's CEO specifically mentioned that Jagex was going after Epicbot and Powerbot for civil and criminal charges. He even named their owner's name.

Once the anti-bot update is released, we'll see what bot sites don't get smashed with bans. I already have a prediction for who will be fine.

 

Yeah it's empty :noworry: Color bots will require a few days/weeks to update character recognition if it's changed and the way in which the client is loaded.

 

Assuming they broke the colour recognition ability for color bots (which is the same as what we have with opengl).

I'd like to say color botting is still very possible albeit slow in an attempted method. Yes ocr requires an update but we can bot with or without ocr using length.

The main thing that will hurt bot makers (which I happen to support very much) is that people need to put considerate more time and effort into making their bots regardless of their method. As botany bay should catch any bot that doesn't behave like a human.


Yes botting will be delayed, but no botting will not be dead. Infact it would be more powerful than ever. As for people who just want to purchase bots and don't bother to learn, they will be hang to dry for at least 2 weeks - a month if not more. But as people began to find new and better botting methods, runescape botting will be at a high again, and when that time comes... things should be fun

 

I think Botany Bay is overrated and JaGeX can only do so much with what they have to detect bots. Has everyone forgotten how JaGeX(RuneScape) needs bots?

 

We will just have to wait and see, I know I will be testing it on throw away accounts just to see how "efficient" it is.

I mean, it can't exactly just be hot air because of all the hype they've given it, they'd lose face.

 

Truth is most of the community won't know the truth and will believe lies JaGeX spins their way.

I'm not sure they'd hype something like this up so much just for it to be complete lies.

This isn't just behind the scenes banning people, this is a visual thing too with the dragon hand. If the players don't see this working, they will begin to question the validity of what jagex tells them.

I think it's naive at this point to not take this seriously.
