Catching out imposters

Was just on MSN and got added by '[email protected]' pretending to be Busta305 ([email protected]) and caught him out.

 

The email is very close, but I don't really see the need to make this thread here. I catch a ton of impostors. Still there isn't a need to make a thread about it. J/s

 

I didn't know where else to make a thread about it to make people aware of the imposter..Plus it was funny

Aye, I check for emails every time on their Sythe page/account, and if it's not on there I always ask for a PM.. safety first boys and girls x

 

What a sneaky bastard, its so depressing how many scammers/imposters there are here on Sythe, if only there was a way to block them all.

 

Indeed, this is 90% of Sythe for you though.

 

I've seen that exact method used before, luckily I always ask for a pm on sythe.

 

The same guy tried adding me. I immediately knew it was an imposter because I dont even buy/sell rsgp, so I said I was selling a gift card lol. We agreed on a price and I was to go first and I made up some random number to troll him. He was like "it didn't work" and then I responded by saying "and neither did you're imposter attempt" and blocked him. He got owned.

That made my day lol.
