i beleive it was jagexs way of replacing the bonus exp weekends, also most people who do play rs want to be a member anyways, so i guessing now jagex is trying to get more money out of you for being a member by offering extra incentives to those who arn't members yet? i mean you will prob get membership regardless... so... i mean.... whats the point?

its not really directly selling, they just reward you for staying a member which i dont mnind

 

Now they're just offering free stuff for staying a member, what happened to a summer full of exciting content lol.

 

Honestly, if you think about it 700,000xp is not that much, it is not even enough to get you a level from 96+ sure you can touch up a few lower stats but aside from that the experience isn't that much.

 

Well to get the 700k bonus you have to stay members for the 2 whole months..so really I don't see why you're complaining.. you can make well over 700k in a few hours. So getting 700k over 2 months is really not all that bad..

 

Choice of 4 most powerful items. This will likely be a prank or something that can't be used as a weapon such as the rock you got from that clue event thing that spawns chickens falling from the sky. Some may say that was pretty powerful.

Well I'm member til October so yeah, I didn't need this incentive but I'm not complaining.

 

I'm just hoping that the 4 weapon thing isn't another rwt item..

Although I find it quite stupid that they're giving out this 700k xp, im still not gonna rage nor complain any more about it as its free xp in my eyes and I shall take it freely if it safes me time in a skill.

it's a bad update but i would like it if i still played to be honest, free 700k summoning experience than i could get 88 summoning finally

 

You guys think every update is bad. this is just compensating for bonus xp weekend being nerfed. Its probably just going to be a mad necklace equivalent. so people dont fuck up the economy hoarding supplies. this is a GOOD thing.

who cares, is indirect and is only 700k. We can't blame jagex so I wouldn't complain.

 

I wasnt crying. I was just trying to figure out the date at which Jagex will start selling gold in 'Solomons RWT Store'

 

I no longer play runescape and don't see why anyone does but I don't understand why people are complaining about this especially when your on a runescape cheating forum where people buy gold, training, services ect. What's the difference between that and jagex giving you free xp for being a member which you'd be paying for anyway. At the end of the day it's a game guys.

 

It's just like the mad necklace, and it's in place to take over the Double XP Weekends we use to have(These where members only). If anything they've compressed a bonus XP Weekend into 700k XP, effectively lowering the amount that one player could have gotten anyway. These double XP Items are here to stay, and you still need to gain XP in a skill to have it doubled...
