I was thinking maybe Arr-dee or Arr-die, but Ardoin? They are pulling pronunciations out of their ass.

 

The thread title throws you off. He's not saying "ardy" in the video, he's saying "ardougne", so it does make sense (if the U magically turns into an I).

 

Sounds really stupid.

 

His voice is really annoying and I always just call it ardy.

They really did pull it out of their ass. For all we know, one day they'll say that the real pronunciation of Runescape is "Roin-scape".

ArDOING! Sounds like a freaking bell ring. I'm gonna stick with the way I pronounce it, sounds a lot better than a ding.

 

It actually makes sense, it looks like a French word and it has a similar pronunciation to how it sounds in French. I still pronounce it as Ardy (ar-dee) though.

haha I was watching it and i definitely repeated it three times to make sure....oh how I was off. It's always funny to talk to people and hear their pronunciation.

 

I feel legit retarded after listening to it because i always thought it was pronounced like "ardo-now". maybe because i never really payed attention to how it was even spelled.
